Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all,

Bit of a warm night. 4 +2 boys over last night. Headed to a mates place for a swim. One has a old Porsche that doesn't start easily, another that has a old junker with a flat battery that doesn't start, another with an old Civic that used to blow a ton of smoke..... But, geez they're a happy lot.

36 today, 24 tomorrow. just in time for golf.

Enjoy Adelaide, Deborah.

Good morning.
Thanks again Vic...
We had a few more showers through the day... only 6 mm..
I had a look at removing the diesel heater tank... there is one nut that I can't get too because of the closeness of the main fuel tank... it's got me buggard as to how they put it there when it was installed.🤬🤬. So I'm still to remove it...
Not much else going on at the moment... can't mow to wet 🤔.
I'm maybe off to maryborough today to get some bits
And catch up with my mate who had the fall last Thursday... apparently he has had a brain bleed... not good..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Bernie, when I installed my diesel heater I found a spare outlet from the main diesel tank. It apparently was used
for the passenger heating that had been removed. It had a rubber hose in situ but blocked off, so that's what I used.
Best of luck

Good morning everyone. Its an overcast sorta day here, might get to 29⁰, or not. Maybe a shower or two.
I hope the rain stops up north soon, and the bushfires down soon and in the west bugger off too.
We went up to Brisbane yesty. Saw an Egyptian artefacts display at the museum. Most of it was on loan from the Dutch museums. Never realised they had so much involvement in archaeology.
I'm making a couple of batches of sauce today, so not much else happening.
I hope your mate is OK Bernie. Doesn't sound to good.
Get well all the sickies.
Take care everybody, safe travels.
Cheers
David

That was part of the big fire with the Fuso resulting in the house burning down. The fire from the power box on the garage wall set the RF tyre on fire, the wind blew the fire under the Fuso and burnt the blocked off rubber hose that sealed off the pipe from the bottom of the fuel tank. That fed a full tank of diesel into the fire. Next door took video of the event and the fuel can be seen running out from under the back right corner of the bus, simply not enough oxygen for it to burn until it got out from under the bus ..... then it was off and running .... literally ......

The other advantage of the separate tank, you can mix the required ratio of kero and diesel to make winter fuel so the thing doesn't smoke when it lights up and doesn't carbon up as quick because the kero assists with the burn producing a far better combustion ......

Bernie is always saucing his seals. The trouble is when you break the seal.

Late morning all.

Morning all...
Twas a busy day yesterday, I spent about four hours in Maryborough... and it pithed down the whole time...
But only a few showers in Degilbo...
I have everything I went for... cept for some lettuce 🥬 seedlings... the one's I looked at didn't pass the pub test.
I have a new wheel for the car trailer...and it's a solid not pneumatic 🤔😁.
The only sauce I know of is David... making some ...if that makes sense 😁
I have a small tiny problem...the axcel from the old wheel doesn't quite fit 🤬🤬🤬... out by a poofteenth.
If we get a day without any rain I will mow later.
Vic if it was as easy as yours life would be a dream 😁
And I'm not going to comment on sagging bum's 🤗
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all.

There must be two Bernies from Degilbo. The Bernie I know brews up kegs of his special sauce. ;)

Speaking of sagging bums, I'm trying to exercise my glutes and hamstrings. My whole lower back and hips are sore. I reckon the glutes have gone to sleep and I've lost some support. .... Just raising each leg behind me and holding for 20 seconds or more as often as I remember.
