Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

So, you're up for a partial restump, and a bit of a rabbit reduction. You need a Sammy dog. Sammy was a little inbred Jack Russell that we had many years ago. She would chase rabbit all day and all night. Best rabbit dog I have ever owned, but she went over the rainbow bridge many years ago. Can still hear her barking when I walk in a few special paddocks though. Almost as special as Bandit. :D

Maybe Phoenix needs to channel Sammy.
All he does is casually look at them through the kitchen window and sniff where they've been in the backyard.

Good thing so far is only 1 stump completely gone. So there is no floor movement. Just remove old stump and replace with new. Concrete in and wait.

Does this mean the theme for this yrs spoon challenge is Rabbit based recipes .... let's see them come up with a dessert that meets that criteria  Cholate coated bunny on a stick perhaps? Devilled rabbit might be an option though, Super Sparkie might be able to win that spoon with rabbit wrapped in pasty and special dipping sauce .... I lost my wild game recipe, but I remember Ballarat Bill did a top quality rabbit stew a few yrs back, if he gets the timing better this yr he might be in the running to join the 2 spooners

Good morning.
Another day in paradise coming up 😁.
Son and lady friend came out for a visit and we went to lunch at the Grand hotel in Biggenden, it was a great catch up...
But before they came we went to a garage sale in Biggenden...I now own a cement mixer... for herself to mix her garden potting stuff 🤔 And four garden pots around $100 each in Bunnings we got all four for $60. Bargain.
The next was an industrial fan for the back patio three speeds fast faster and hang on to your hat. All up $140..for everything .Herself is pleased.
Nothing planned for today yet... cept..
It's bacon and eggs Sunday 😁 😋
I remember the days when one could just go shoot rabbits...now everyone is scared of the gun's... blame JH for that.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning All.
I remember when we moved to the property in Duncans Creek, there were rabbits everywhere. Our labrador spent so much time chasing them over the granite soil that he wore to paws of his feet off and had to lay on the concrete verandah for 2 weeks before being able to walk again.

Morning all.

another stump planned for today.

Once of the boys friends has an old Volvo. About 1994. Quoted $600 to replace the rear shockers and $400 to do the rear pads. He's coming over today so we can have a chat about his options. A quick looks says the parts are about $300 max. Depends if he needs new discs.

Bernie, just wondering, what is Biggerden famous for?

Good morning everyone. Another top day up here on the GC.
I've spent the past few days replacing the rangehood in the kitchen. That translates to replacing the stainless steel splashback with tiles and fitting a same but different rangehood and flue. It all fun, til it's not.
I hope your restumping goes smoothly Jon. At least you have some wiggle room. I hope you can find a way of keeping the bunnies out permanently.
Safe travels everybody. Enjoy the day.
Cheers
