Got up this morning and there was a strange vehicle sitting on the roadway, G went outside to take some rubbish to the bins and a man got out of the said vehicle, twas that fella named Bob r, so in he came for some coffees and chat. He has just left to go back to his daughters farm where his wife will have his lunch all prepared and on the table awaiting his return
Was good to meet another forumite on our travels. Had a bit of thunder and at least 100 drops of rain that has just bought out the flies, (sticky little suckers) Most of the caravans have departed but some are starting to dribble back in again. We shall be staying another night here as we want to have a look at the shops (well the ones that are open) Enjoued a good night's sleep, this stop is a must if travelling through. Plenty of room, loos, bins, and apparently water fit to drink. Lunch time now, might be ok for the net coverage but if not catch yu's later. Thanks to all who left messages and #'s so we could catch up with Bob r.

Stopped in a nice big gravel pit adjacent to a huge sealed area just a few ks out of a small town named Tomingley for the night. No other takers so far (4pm) so guess it must be just a truck stop. We are well out of the way, amazing how many fire nutters there must be in this country, every few mts there has been a camp fire, can't the same one be used more than once? there is a table and chairs with 4 separate spots where there has been a camp fire?? Just watched a car come in and yep off into the bushes they went there is a dam toilet not 30mts from them????
