Hello peoples :D Finally got back on the net, my 'puter has spat the dummy and refusses to link to the interweb dongle thingy so Margaret has let me user her 'puter, just as long as I don't teach it any bad habits  We now have the dongle thing with an inside type aerial plugged into it taped to a tent pole on the side of the Mazda, how's that for dedication  Even tried with the tent pole idea up on the top deck of Bruce's house boat yesterday without any luck.

Anyway, very nice quiet spot here, still plenty of room, but fresh drinking water is hard to find close by,so best to bring some with you, or plan to filter the Murray water through a pair of socks or something similar.

It was a real surprise to see Bob&Bev arrive, Bob is looking really well so Bev must have been looking after him really good 8-)
Gordon & Wendy arrived in their brand new Evernew van, Eddie (Wombat) and Brian & Jenni were already here when we arrived, and Bruce & Wendy of course.
We've been for a trip down the river with a real close up on the cliffs just on sunset to ee all the birds returning to their dug outs in the cliff face, quite an amazing sight. Thanks to captain Brian for that and Bruce& Wendy for inviting us on their house boat and a great happy hr turn out as well.

Peter it might be a waste of time coming up to Walker Flat as by the time you arrive there will only be a couple left here.
I think T1 & Brian are leaving early Wed or so.
Due to some prior engagements others have moved on or are doing so tomorrow as well.
It's your decision ofcourse!!
:) ;)

It WAS good to meet you Peter and I'm glad you ventured out on the houseboat.
Was a little difficult but you made it unlike some who went mud swimming!!
Well it's all over now.
The boat left the scene at 10 past 2 & that left Homeless & T1 to go find a winery or three!!
Thankyou every one for some wonderful memories ........ especially Trixie.......... ;) ;)

All arrived safe and sound at Tununda by 1830 hours [thought they stopped at a good winery and decided to stay there].

We only found one winery open and that was at Angaston and a nice drop even though a bit pricy but who cares.
Found a nice cheese shop for tastings and then a nice bakery for a cornish pasty and a coffee. Also topped up on Spec and all sorts of metwurst and bum burner etc etc.
Was enjoying the ambiance of the coffe shop when some one resembling Margaret presses face to the window so T1 and Marg had pie and coffee and sugar treats LOL.
Then we went to Nurioopta but too late so then on to Tanunda and did the shopping.
Rained overnight so hope sun comes out as it is winery day after we go to Gawler for the rego change over of the Mazda.
Thanks Bruce and Wendy for the week, as well as all the others that attended and made the week enjoyable and memorable.
Jenny had a ball on her first venture out in the bus and camping so it was great to get the good impression to make it easier to get her out on the road again. LOL.
Regards
Brian
