Good morning everyone. Its a beautiful morning here by the lake. Might warm up later though.
Spent most of yesty grubbing out bindii and burrs. Got a wheelie bin full now.
Today I'm going fishn'. Maybe. Haven't been told the agenda yet.
Bernie, I was at my GP last week. He said if I go to visit anybody in hospital to wear a mask, to much covid and the respiratory virus in them places.
Safe travels everybody.
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
Over 2 hrs at the hospital today, 15 mins to get the patch off and the nurse to do the tests etc, 1:45 mins to see the doctor so he could shine that light on a trolley thing in my eyes and make both of them hurt
But, I can read without glasses now, yahoo
Gunna need the sunnies for a while at least, the left eye is freaking out a bit because it can't adjust to see the same as the right eyes ..... the right eye has long since stopped trying to focus enough to read ......
At least a week before I'm allowed to hang upside down to put this new inverter pump in the Prius and 6 weeks at least before I can be tested for glasses, so the Syd trip would have been a case of driving with the cheap shop plastic sunnies if I was still going ..... been that way for a yr or so now ..... so .......

Morning everyone.
I had a bugga of a day, first of all Carol conned me into helping weed the BIG garden....and I twisted my back
Except for seeing if my experimental bracket for the TV was a success...it was... that was it for the day.
Sofar the back is not hurting...so light duties for today me thinks...
I didn't get to the hospital to see my mate...so no mask needed
I also found out yesterday that my next door has COVID.... he's not happy...
Did you get to go fishing Dave?
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all.
Saw the vet yesterday. Mr P is in for another op to check out his throat and remove some more of this tumour. He seems to have some trouble breathing. It's been six month since the discovery. Otherwise, he's all good and loved his visit to Port Fairy.
Geez Bernie, a twisted arm and back. Must hurt.I had a bugga of a day, first of all Carol conned me into helping weed the BIG garden....and I twisted my back

Good morning everyone. I've spent the morning wasting gear in the river, just below the weir gates. Caught nuffin.
But didn't really expect to. Might go for a drive in the bush.
Dunno what's on the program for today yet.
I hope Phoenix is OK Jon.
Happy hump day everybody, safe travels.

Re: Good morning daily
The eye and the neck gave me hell this morning. No idea what I did to my neck to get it so upset, the eye was from reading too much I think, neck wouldn't let me sleep and ended up read a complete book on the phone. A Norflex along with the other pill collection and another 4 hrs in bed seems to have settled them both down a bit, eye still gets pains when it tried to adjust between reading and distance, it can see distance, it's just a bit blurry ...... ant bright light still upsets it as well, so all the curtains a closed to keep the out a bit ..... but it's great to be able to read the computer screen without glasses and continually forced to move closer to the screen to get the focal length right

Re: Good morning daily
Terry, seeing though you have decided not to go to Sydney for the EV thingo, why don't you just take a few days off.
Let your eyes adjust to the new lens, and let everything relax. No ready, no doing stuff, but think and mental planning would be ok.
just sayin'.

Re: Good morning daily
Decided that sitting at the 'puter and ordering stuff looked more like the limit for today's activity .... but at least I thought about doing something. It's the thought that counts I'm toldsupersparky wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 2:33 pm Terry, seeing though you have decided not to go to Sydney for the EV thingo, why don't you just take a few days off.

Re: Good morning daily
The trick is using the plastic lure correctly. Rather using it to buy fishing gear and then bit by bit, throwing it away, go to the fish shop, look in the display area, point to the one you'd like to have caught, wave the flat plastic lure and they even scale and gut it for you ...... alternatively, head to the fush n chup shop, select the type of fish and what coating you would like it cooked in and get a serving of chips to go with it.supersparky wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 8:45 am Good morning everyone. Armed with you fish dinner and at least a 6 pk, find a comfy spot where you would go fishing and enjoy the serenity, ready cooked meal and cold beverages to wash it down ...... when you get back home, you can still tell them you didn't catch anything, but at least you did it economically
