Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Then, you get a lot more rain fall than we do  The only thing the grows here in summer is the rock population. The grass and weeds die, the wind blows what little dirt there is up onto the roof so it can settle into the gutters and grow weeds, the rocks are a tad too heavy, so they are what remains by mid Autumn. A quick racking of the rocks, some chook droppings pellets and what ever is available in the compost tumbler combined with the sand the refer to as "top soil" over here, then sprinkle with lawn seed and hope for some rain

I did manage to keep our lawn green for two summers, but it cost 3 river pumps to do it. The water in the lagoon is full of fine silt, so it's like pumping fine lapping paste and that just eats any type of impellor and housing we've tried ...... if the house ever gets rebuilt, I think I'll try an Archimedes screw type pump to get enough height to syphon to a tank on the hill and use that as the head pressure for a sprinkler system ...... or just continue to grow rock through summer like everyone else in SA

Good morning All.

No need to water the grass here, just mow. Photo taken 10 minutes ago.

Morning.
Sorry about the delay.
We found out last night our son has been in intensive care at Hervey Bay hospital for two days....
He's now in a Ward but still wired up to heart monitor,
Going to have a scan today.... when the cardiologist gets there... that's as much as we know at the moment, but we will know more later this evening.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Wow, not good news at all Bernie, hope things are on the improve for him ...... never good when it's your kids that have the life threatening emergencies, you feel so helpless
Thinking of you both and the family
