It's a rainy morning here, and the weather along the whole east coast doesn't look too flash. We've had 30mm so far, with more to come.
We spent most of yesty seeing who could get the most cactus spikes in our hands. That's always fun, but that little project is now ticked off.
Won't be much else happening here. Another shed day.
Stay safe everybody
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
I'm guessing that was a bowl of porridge with fruit in it, not pea and ham soup the RnB thought it was .... bit heavy for breakfast .... well, that early in the morning, might be ok for my wake up breakfast and possibly Dotties

Re: Good morning daily
Good afternoon, 19c very overcast & we just had a few drops of rain
the rain doesn’t come this far south, the fellow has started on replacing our panels with glass bricks.
Thanks for the photos George, so much history over there in England, Leonie must be enjoying seeing you & Julie.
Agree Terry, porridge & fruit I reckon, my old grandfather had porridge every morning, only drank an occasional Stout, lived to 94 years old, worked as a fitter & turner until he was 75 years old & still use to use his old lathe after he retired, it was originally a pedal lathe.

Good morning.
Rained
most of yesterday...36 mm all up, and still overcast with showers predicted
.
I done sweet bugga all
.
Because of the rain I can't mow... but that doesn't stop the dam grass growing grrr.
Nothing exciting planned for today, but I have to go to the post office to mail postal vote thingy as I'm planning to not be home...
Other than that...I will be making the shed my place to be.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. The rain has finally gone somewhere else. We had 56mm yesterday.
I achieved bugga all in the shed. The grass was, and still is, too wet to mow.
Bandit isn't well this morning, he's off his tucker and doesn't want to move very far. Looks like a vet job coming up.
Nothing else planned for today.
Safe travels everybody.

Re: Good morning daily
Seconded on Bandit's get well wishes, nothing worse than our best friends not being able to tell you what's wrong and you are left guessing ....... do they learn that from the wife?
Yesterday and this morning, I truly believed today was Friday, got ready for the trip to Adelaide for the needles in the eyes and everything ...... bugga, so now, time to organise just what the next moves are regarding the inverter and wiring so I can get the washing machine functional ...... rapidly running out of clean clothes
Discovered yesterday, my estimated length required for the 2 x 1/0 positive cables in the 32mm conduit and the 4/0 negative cable in the 25mm conduit, that was a bit like trying to get small latex gloves on big hands, are too long and too thick to loop around to take up the excess length ....... so they have to come out again and be cut to the exact length ..... you just know what's going to happen eh
Margaret had a phone call from the demolition people, they said the pavers will be damaged when they start the demo next week ...... and I just cancelled the little digger machine yesterday ..... thinking today was Friday .....
Margaret is going to see how much it will cost us for them to save the pavers .... so there might be hope yet .... both for the pavers and getting the whole house demo happening and finally moving on with the next stages in our lives .....

Re: Good morning daily
Dear old Mr Bandit,
x
Back out side with the chainsaw, hedge trimmers and loppers and now I am suffering again. Will I never learn? probably not but I hate to sit around watching Mr G working his A off and finding it difficult, now we are both paying for our efforts. G even got up on a stepladder and cleaned the shed gutters out. Shockies have been ordered.

Re: Good morning daily
It's a very early good morning from my place.
Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. We took Bandit to the vet, and the initial diagnosis wasn't good. Blood tests and ultrasound showed that he had a tumour in his abdomen that had burst and from then on it was never going to be a happy ending.
We stayed with him to the very end and then brought him home.
He is now resting in his sunny spot in the front yard.
RIP Bandit.
Safe travels everybody. Have the best day possible. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

Re: Good morning daily
Feeling sad David, not a good morning RIP Bandit, our last dog Tom is buried in our front garden too, he had renal failure, thinking of you both, I’m sure Bandit will be in doggie heaven.
