Good morning everyone. We had a few little rain showers through the night, but not much in it. Might get a bit more today.
I spent half of yesterday vacuuming dog hair out of the little Jimny. There still plenty to get, maybe some other time.
Today I'll wash the outside of all the vehicles and maybe trim a few shrubs and the Bougainvillea. Sometimes I wish that I hadn't planted that. I like the colour it brings to the garden, but not the thorns.
Bernie, it sounds like it all happening up your way. How much longer do you reckon the roads will be closed for?

Today is a sad day for me.
I have just received a call to let me know that my dear friend Doone passed away early this morning.
She had been fighting her cancer since July last year, so she is now at rest and in no more pain.
Those of you who know Doone from our motorhome days together will know what a wonderful and considerate person she was.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
