Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
I'm now at my nephew's place in Portland NSW.
He has a five acre plot... he's taking a "sicky" today to show me around the area 😁
We had a pleasant arvo and evening.. it's good to catch up.. he's my brother's eldest son and also my eldest nephew...
Not much else to write home about today 😇😁
So I will leave it at that..

Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning.
It's moving day again... heading further north this morning... tomorrow you will find out where I get too.
I/we had a relaxing day talking about the "olden" days.
His son and one of his daughters came over for a catch up as well... with their small tribe of ankle nippers 😁.
It was my first time to see my new family 😍.
All for now...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all,

Big day to day. I'm going to start to take the head off and give it a tickle. Slight miss, blue smoke for the first 10 minutes and engine oil leaking from the air assist gear assembly and lots of blow-by out the pipe.

I'll do a Bernie and replace the rings in-situ plus; the air compressor rings, injector service, valve stem seals and a grind. I've got about 3 months before Mundi.

Good morning...
What a bugga of a day... about 10 Ks. From Mudge the bracket holding my spare tyre on collapsed 🤬 I thought at first I had blown a tyre. and was running on the rim.
So out with the socket set and removed the frame and still attached tyre... All good...NO...I can't lift the tyre...too bloody heavy 🤬🤬 so I hailed down a young bloke who stopped and helped me put the tyre and bracket holding inside the motorhome... All good...
NO... just at the end of the black stump HWY... the engine stopped 😡 and wouldn't start...so on the phone I went, I knew what the problem was... cept for where the solenoid valve was... rang son...he had similar once before in a truck he was driving... and held it open with zippy ties... cept...I don't know where this little bugga is...I also rang my nephew and he said he would drive up from Bathurst if needed...he is a good Boy 😍... also rang our resident workshop manual owner...Jon... will his help and lots of photos between us...we found the culprit...
And turned out a easy fix in the end
So a mighty thanks to Jon...who by the way was up to his armpits in his own project 😁
All for now hopefully the next post will be from home 🏡
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning, 11c sun trying hard to shine thru sky full of grey/ black, 21c predicted & 4mm rain.

Bernie, Carol made a good choice not to go to Taggerty, sounds like you experienced a really stressful day, pleased you were able to successfully deal with the problems.

Last Thursday we started playing bowls in brilliant sunshine looking forward to the game, 2 ends played we felt light rain it gradually became heavier until we finished the 5th end in consistent rain that was it for the day, rain predicted for the next week. :(
No rollup today.
Shirley & Bruce.

It's too late for good morning, so it must be good afternoon time.
Not a cloud to be seen in Mulwala, and not much else happening either. Everybody must be somewhere else this weekend, not many at the clubs. Everybody in town seems to at the big auction at the local tyre/mechanical service. The owner is retiring and hasn't been able to find a buyer. Its been on the market for a cuppla years.
No good with the rain Shirley. How are Bruce's eyes after the needles?
Glad to hear you're home safe Bernie.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

"tanks" here---
I have just tuned in to the Channel 7 coverage of the State Military Funeral for WA's last WW2 Soldier and POW.
Arthur Leggit OAM. Arthur died at the age of 106.
The AFL has struck a medal and honoured his name. The medal will be awarded to the best player.
The Mt Lawley High School named its Library in his honour several years ago.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Margaret has returned from a trip to Mt Barker's Hardly Normal with Brian, to washing machine shop.
His washing machine, ours ex Day St Lake Illawarra, so has lasted well, decided it had enough of living on his back deck and requested a retirement package. Nothing small enough to fit through the houseboat door, so Margaret shopped at "Appliances Online" and says they will deliver for free ..... yet to be seen, Mannum is considered to a bit like Innamincka, too far from anywhere to be considered within a delivery area
