Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
We also had a few showers through the day... and raining now... not much but good for the garden's....
Nothing planned for today...I may get the mower ready for a cut.... depending on how much rain we get...
No further updates on the brackets for the wheel carrier.
I'll get back to it Monday...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning All. 19* and finally, clear blue sky with zero rain forecast.
I may do a little outside today but as I am noy feeling on top of the world, I doubt it.

Looks like I forgot to hit submit again this morning.
Anyway, it's an overcast and drizzling day coming up for us.
On our walk this morning, we went along the creek, near the conservation area. Lot's of buck kangaroos, trying to stay under the treeline. The biggest one was none too pleased that we had wandered their way. Lot's of birds about today.
Nothing major planned for the day.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

I can't believe how fast the whole get up go has got up and went ...... we have target dates that we want to leave on our first trip, but hospital and doctor visits keep blowing them out and each lost day with them, results in at least 2 days of work delayed.
Half a day's work seems to be the limit now, no more 12 and 14hr workdays seem possible, the body just refuses to do more than half a day without losing the whole of the next day ..... still better than the alternative at the moment ....

Still don't seem to be much closer to getting the damage resulting from the demolition sorted, or the house insurance finalised ...... unbelievable really, all this stuffing around by NRMA will now have cost more than if they had just paid us the money we were insured for to demolish the house ourselves ..... and still a minimum of 2 yrs before a house to replace it can be ready to live in ..... that will make it 3 yrs min since the fire ..... so much for it being our retirement home, it's just another source of stress we were hoping to have put behind us once the workshop destruction was sorted .... seems neither my nor Margaret's head were designed for this sort of long term crap, and the same insurance company involved in both cases .......

Terry we are all getting older. You are 70 soon. We can't do the same shit stuff that we used to. Do what you can, when you can or maybe change a few of your priorities. Or, pay someone to do some of those things. I know that it won't be done as well as, or exactly how we wanted it, but we aren't gunna be here forever.

This has been mentioned many times....

We've all only got a limited time. Maximum pleasure, minimum waste.

One man's waste could be another man's relaxation ..... like chasing a golf ball all over a mowed and sort of cleared area for a day, to me that leads to frustration and a few beers to recover, others find it relaxing and pleasurable ...... each to their own ;)
