Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning .
It's a bit brisk outside temperature down to 2 degrees...
19.4 inside... Fire 🔥 is lit...
Another slow day... done some fiddling in the shed... I might change that to research 😜😞 in the shed...
That just means I haven't found what I was searching for.
We are off to the big smoke today...a day earlier than normal... mainly because we will be off to the Rodeo on Friday.
Maybe all the Swans are hiding with Nessie... Dave 😁
Keep safe
Bernie.

Bernie, I reckon you've nailed it. The Loch Ness monster has eaten all the swans. Today we saw lots of Lochs, lots of rivers, a small part of Inverness, donkeys, pheasants, partridge, rabbits, lots more sheep and cattle, but still no swans.
I did get a pic of the Loch Ness monster, but I accidentally deleted it when I was showing it to a fella. So, without a pic It probably didn't happen. It's nearly 10pm here and the sun has just set, still pretty light outside. Sun up 4am tomoz. Night all.
Cheers

Dave,
Your Nessie story sounds suspiciously like “The dog ate my homework.” 🤔😉

Morning all.
Was a long and busy day in Maryborough... all the shopping done... with herself factoring in the time in Bundaberg hospital... she's clever like that 😁
I just followed her like a good little puppy 🤔...
Today we will be packing the motorhome for a Friday getaway... And from today there is a bi-pass along the route... looks like they are finally going to replace one of the bridges on the roof... there has been a few fatalities on said bridge...I haven't been along the back road for twenty some years ago...
Keep searching for those Swans Dave...
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.
PS...it's minus one outside.

Good morning everyone, I'm pleased to announce that there really are white swans in Scotland, we saw a family of 'em today. The young 'uns looked exactly the same as our black ones. Go figure.
We also spent a fair part of the day driving through the Scottish Highlands and saw some truly amazing scenery. We even found a piper busking at one stop. He was brilliant. Some of the women on the tour weren't too impressed though. He used the f word too often for their liking. They might get over it.
The horse head thing behind the swans is one of a pair of Kelpies. They are huge. You can walk inside 'em. The are a part of Scottish mythology.

I thought the horse heads looked a bit too big to put on a Kelpie, it would make round up time kinda difficult .... but would make a great video .......

The reason the swans are white over there, not enough sun on them when they are young to darken the feathers ......
