Be warned, it gets cold in Glen Innes

The water hose and filter froze, the Diesel Heater worked real well.

Went to Quorn SA today for a ride on the Pitchu Richu railway, 90 minutes up stop for lunch [45 min] and 90 minutes back, Steam train [remember them] in the carriage we sat back to the windows and faced each other. Half time we swapped sides for a different view coming back. Beautiful town all the buildings were built in the 1880's'
About five films have been made there including "The Shirralee" "Robbery Under Arms". Country all green and the wild flowers are out, the guard said that five weeks ago there was not a blade of grass. Off to Port Parham SA tomorrow.

Now in the Big 4 at Point Vernon, Hervey Bay. Feels weird after free camping so much, to be so close to the neighbour! Quite a palaver reversing the humpy into the spot.

Booked for three nights but not sure whether we will stay on, or move somewhere else. Any recommendations?

We are at Bingara on the river - lovely days, just a bit cooler at night, here until Friday then head to Glen Innes.

We are close to the Angus River in Strathalbyn SA but only for a few more days when we shall be heading towards Brisb.

Currently at Bluewater free camp north of Townsville, heading towards Chaters Towers in a few days time.
