Naw I tried that but the reflection from the 2 Kw of solar panels in front of me made me think I might get arrested for dangerous driving, seeing as I could not see, you see ?

I washed the top of the air con the G did the paint prep work then he painted it with the thermal paint. Then out came the air compressor lovingly named "Chuckie" :) and blew all the spiders, webs and dust from the guts of the said item.

Had to go for the Ibis air command again. Could not get enough space or info to go for a domestic one. Shifted the older one (5yr old) to the bedroom area and shall put the new more powerful one into the living area. Can only try I guess. The new one arrives tomorrow.

Why not get a domestic one and mount the box part on the roof behind the steering wheel?

Least then you could sit down when driving. :-)

Soon Dot.... things are still 80%, and not at a picture point. Have just fitted the batteries and inverter.

I've got AGM's becuase I got them super cheap years ago and they are good as new.

Yeah Dot, knowotchamean.

Do the same thing up here in the rain forest country of the Tablelands in FNQ.

Lotsa spiders - some big buggars as big as yer hand, & that's just between the eyes, like Golden Orb mungrels, & webs & mossies (at the moment) & other annoying little buggers... but Trina won't let me spray them, reckons they'll probably grow up to be decent people! ;)

Every morning when I walk outa the van then walk around to see what's hanging onto the exterior... I test the direction of the cooling breeze then stand up-wind a bit & let the air compressor do the dirty. Mines a pretty basic model so probably not as good as the G man's. :D

Thought i'd have a look at the jaycar 40amp dcdc charger to see why it wouldn't work a couple of days ago

Image

2 40amp fuses inside the charger on the input side both blown and look like they've got hot

check ya email Terry
