Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Late good morning. Went to Adelaide yesterday for Faye's results from her six monthly scans. All good and have said next scan in twelve months mainly to keep us in the system. Been 5 years now since first op. Heavy fog when we left at 7am but it cleared up after 30 min. to a sunny day until we got to about Mount Barker and then shitty misty rain. Very windy and dusty up here today and still no rain. Have only had 18mm in the last 3 months. Been having a big clean-up in my sheds. Sold some vine equipment ( very cheap ) I will never use again and got rid of a lot of stuff with a FREE sign on it. One mans junk is another's treasure, also a big bonfire with a lot of timber offcuts that might have been useful one day. Cheers John

John, you should know those little bits of timber or steel might come in handy some day. Until they won't. :D
I need to seriously declutter my shed too.
Cheers

That did a big clean up in my shed .... wish it could have sorted out the good stuff first .... and left the shed still standing  A FREE sign wasn't gunna shift much of what was left after the fire .....

Did you get the rain Mannum had just before we left early June must have been, you could have had our share, I didn't need it

Great to hear Faye is doing well, keep up the good work.

Good morning everyone. We made it safely down to Mulwala last night. Wasn't much of a day, but that life, isn't it.
The MiL is having trouble with her hearing aids. That might explain some of her confusion. Hopefully we can sort that later this morning and I can head down to my sons this arvo.
I've got a few things for the little grandson, all the way from Scotland.
It won't be light for about 3 hours, so I think I'll try to catch a few more zzz's
Cheers

Morning all.

Hope to finish the engine today and back it out the driveway. Although, we have to pick up Josh's car so that will interrupt things.

If I can, it will be about 8 weeks from starting to finishing the rebuild. Ready for Mundi, and then Hervey Bay. woo hoo.

It's nearly midday here and I'm still not very warm. Might have to put long pants on soon. It's about 9⁰ according to BoM.
I'm off to the Hammer shed to get a new spout for the kitchen tap here. The swivel part is nearly as old as me, and leaks a bit too much.
I'll get in before the smarty pants and say, yes - just like me at times.
Enjoy your day everybody.
Good effort with the Beddy Jon. :D
Cheers

Good morning.
You'll go blind Dave... playing with your spout..😜
I've almost finished sanding the sink bench down.. turned out to be a three person job one neighbour to help me get it outside and yesterday another to help me put it on the sawhorses for sanding and the same neighbour to help me put it back under cover in the patio...I didn't want to have it out in the elements over night... weather said for a shower or two this morning... hasn't happened yet..
But not today...I'm off shopping...by myself...I have a list.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

I think I did a serious mischief to my knee on Tuesday leaning over the engine cover getting the coils and plugs out. I expected yesterday to be a non event day, but it seems today will be as well ..... might have to book in to the physio who got it back on track last time .... that will eat some serious cash

I ended up buying a camera thingy and a mirror on Temu, hopefully it will be here by Tuesday, then I can continue with doing surgery on the engine

Morning all....

Bus is back in the driveway pointing the right way! Yippeee. Drives well, boost is very responsive, engine accelerates well and is quiet. Lots more power going up the hill to home. Maybe becuase it's only 10 deg???
