Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I had a bsa bantam that I rode to various shearing sheds I worked in as a teenager just outta school.
125cc & left the usual 2stroke smoke trail.
Many a time I arrived at the shed with ice hardened eyebrows!!
My very first bike was a Bantam. Mine had no rear brake and a huge rear sprocket. It would almost climb trees. I found one in WA a few years back. Fully restored. On sale for $17,000. No Bantam is worth that much. Apparently they were used as postie bikes in Glasgow in Scotland way back when. Found one in a transport museum on our recent trip.

Thats still a lot of money for a Bantam, Bernie.
Dunno that I'd even pay that much, even
for an FJ. Not saying they aren't worth it, but not in my money.

You'll need those special concrecraft rods to weld that to the floor Bernie ;) 8-)

Further down in the details, he mentions a hybrid conversion that wasn't completed. ;)

There are a never ending supply of those Jon, the US forums are full of completed, partially completed and parts no longer required ..... I'm guessing funds are getting tight over there.

Some absolute bargains to be had, both in the US and Great Britian, the cost of getting them here would make it cheaper to buy a new EV, shipping has just gone up that much. Yet, Amazon and Temu can still ship for free if the purchase is greater than $40 AUD ....

Good morning everyone. It's still dark here in downtown Mulwala, and we are still parked out on the road. I spent half of yesty trying to drain the backyard. It kinda resembles a swamp after the rain that the area has had. Maybe, if it doesn't rain today, it might be dry enough to get in.
Didn't get up to much else.
Have a great day everybody. Safe travels, and try to stay warm and dry.
Cheers
