Morning All.
Josh's car had a clunk. He was worried sick about it.... anyway, I fixed it. Now he thinks there is a scratchy sound.
But the clunky sound is gone.
Bleeding the bus brakes today, grease underneath. Then another 600 ks next week and an oil change.
Should be good for Mundi after that.
Also, Nigel says lots more rain for Deborah and Shirley.
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Another bright sunny day here at Mulwala. Bit fresh though. We toured the painted silos yesty. Had a decent feed and a nice cold beer at the Devenish hotel.
Didn't get up to much else.
I hope that rain doesn't turn up here, we'll never get out of the yard.
What was the clunky sound Jon?
Safe travels everybody.

Re: Good morning daily
Cold and foggy in the Riverland this morning after a frost last night. Minus 2 forecast for tonight. Should clear up to a nice day when the sun can break through. Ford Ranger seat fixed and back in so I will have to find something else to do now. Still trying to find parts for the RD 350 motorbike.
Time for another coffee now. Cheers John

Re: Good morning daily
Dave,
The torque restrictor. Sort of a lower engine mount to stop the engine rotating. (E-W FWD)
It sort of started when he was practicing steep handbrake starts. No real visible evidence except for a very slight tear in the rubber (squeezed thin) where the moulds were pressed together.

It is still pissistenly raining down here in the Lake Illawarra area, I don't think it has eased for the last 2 days .... good to get a reminder why I wasn't all that upset moving away from here, the summer humidity would be up there as well ...... and way too many peoplejon_d wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 7:17 am Morning All.

Re: Good morning daily
Jon needs to teach Josh basic mechanical skills and diagnosing ...... good luck with that task, I failed that one and ended up being the fleet mechanic. In the end, I learnt to guide them to buying a bomb that you couldn't kill with stick as their first car ..... that at least kept them going until they moved out and far enough away to have to put their hands in their own pocket to fix what ever brokejon_d wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 7:17 am Morning All.

Good morning everyone.
It was another cool and windy day...it's still blowing outside...
Because of the weather I didn't get under the motorhome maybe today if the weather permits...I think Ill probably need to dismantle the sway bar completely to get the bracket to fit... that will give me more wiggle room

I also made and fitted a tube to hold the welding rods on the bench... plus fitted another motion light in the backyard...not to frighten the bad guys but to light the yard so I can walk to the shed... without a torch
.
And of cause it's bacon and eggs day....
Maybe a Wombat under the seat Jon...
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.

Morning all.
Sunny day here. But cold night.burnung through the wood like Bernie.
The clunk under the seat was a worn king pin. Took me a long time find that one.
