Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We expect to be home early afternoon, as long as everything stays behaving itself like it has so far on this trip home ..... can't blame the overheat on anything but my brain fade, I make sure the radiator is full and the cap on before we start off each morning now
A warm and sunny day here in Peak, though, I haven't been outside yet, could be the air con making it T shirt weather in here 8-)

BUT...we are having a pub lunch today...with visitor's from Victoria.. :D

Good Afternoon All. I just got out of bed after soaking in a hot bath last night due to serious back pain. Julie tells me I have been trying to do too much physical work around the place.

It is a beautiful day here, 20* and mostly blue sky.

Enjoy the remaining trip home Terry and stop thinking about doing things which will never happen.

I'm hoping that I've kicked this cold or whatever it is. I woke up in a ball of sweat an hour or so ago.
I'm going to try for a telehealth with the doc today. Might get a bit of unpacking done.
Not much else to report.
Safe travels everybody. Have the best of days.
At least your daughter will be well on the way to a full recover ..... everyone knows, the only way to get rid of a cold, is to give it to someone else

Never thought of that. Doubt if I can give it to Terrie though. She won't even venture into the same room as me now. Unless, maybe I passed it on over the weekend in the Winny. I hope that I haven't given it to the old MiL. She is already immune depleted.
Cheers

We arrived in the yard at Mannum around 2pm, parked the Winnie up facing the other way, so instead of seeing the truck and vehicle collection behind the hedge, now we can see Kombi, Jag, 240E Mecedes (it had a go at me for calling it a lowly 210C earlier) EB II Fairmont, Mazda, trailer, Big Bus, the 20ft container, the Taxi Prius and the Lexus ..... and a few other random things ..... and the big silver pipe the other side of the fence ...... a much better view

Margaret is off to see Brian and Ruby, the dogs will be over the moon about seeing each other and going to the golf course for a walk .......

I'd say "It's good to be home" but I wouldn't sound convincing ..... lots of jobs to do, needles in the eyes tomorrow and see if hopefully the bleeding has stopped, then the front tree needs to become a hedge again, scrub down the roof and reseal it, solar up there and wired up ..... then all the other stuff, water pump, run the 6mm cable from the inverter to the Winnie powerbox, find the pump to the rear drinking water tank and replace it, fix the step I tied to knock a tree down with, replace more LPG hoses .... then rego is due .... I'm guessing there is another page of jobs I've missed ..... glad I'm retired, I'd never find the time otherwise

Terry, does your Winny still have NSW rego? If yes, does it still need the annual heavy vehicle inspection?
On a totally unrelated topic, I found out today that if you cough enough in a short time period, you can almost pass out. I've done nothing but cough all day and feel sorry for myself. Hardly left the bedroom all day. I really hope that I haven't passed this on to anyone.
Cheers

David, time to see a DR. Too many things around these days that we have no ideas about ie that RSV ?. If you are alone and think you are having a heart attack then doing lots of coughs in a row can help, but coughing all day sounds like a GP visit. Been an ok day 0

Still has NSW rego ..... which is free, even for a heavy vehicle :D Just the pink slip inspection and the green slip insurance for rego.

No problems on the way home .... except for my phone somehow ending up on "Do Not Disturb" so I was waiting for ages for Margaret to ring that she had finished shopping at Aldi, and she was getting crankier and crankier because I wasn't answering the phone .... I eventually rang her to find out how much longer she would be ..... and got my head bit off

Winnie is running great, very happy with it, ran it for the last stretch from Murray Bridge to Mannum on LPG and it ran strong and smooth, so it must just be a filler hose that has burst.

Good morning.
I finally finished the little shed 😀.... just have to align the door correctly...I need another person to help...
Carol's mate who she shares trips to bingo with had to pull out... she has visitors...so I drove Carol to bingo 😔
Then went and picked her up after and we went to the commercial Hotel for lunch with our Victorian friends.
They will be heading home today..
We had some good rain ☔ through the day... maybe more today 🤔..
I don't know what going to happen today..yet..
Terry there are some friends of mine on an aviation forum that are thinking of putting those sodium batteries in their aircraft...it will be interesting to see their results..
Keep safe.
Bernie.
