Well, the phone appears to have recovered, still throws up apps I didn't even know existed every so often, but I can live with that
Today we moved the Hino and trailer back into a spot we can hook the Jimny onto the towball, parked the Hino in front of the workshop again and now the solar is attempting to recharge the built from scrap lithium battery so we can get Jimny started and push the trailer inside.
Both the Kombi and taxi Prius have their 12v battery on a charger so they can be moved if needed, so a whole collection of vehicles getting stuff done on them

T1,
Does this mean you plan to flat-tow Jim against the recommendation in the User's Manual?
Or is it going on the trailer?
If flat-towing, what have you done to overcome the fact that there's no Neutral in the transfer case?
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
No, using the Jimny to push the loaded trailer into the workshop so we can use the crane and hydraulic lift table to put the boxes of lithium cells up the back of the workshop. The Hino is too long to use as the pusher vehicle and the caravan mover wheel that goes on the jockey wheel leg just digs holes because of the weight in the trailer.
A quick question, how do you engage low range 4 x 4? I can select 4 x 4 ok but it just beeps when I try to low range 4 x 4. It moved the trailer easy enough in normal 4 x 4 mode but I thought it might be easier on the transmission if it was in low range.

Thought I'd ask Ray first, then I'll go looking for the manual but that can't be done before all else has failed

T1, engage 4x4 hi range then move a bit then engage 4x4 low. You can't do it in one step. At least that's how ours is. But ours is manual, so it may be different
