Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

If you're lucky George, a little bit of rain, a little bit of wind, not your problem anymore. :D Here's to hoping.

Good morning.
You go to a lot of bother just for a excuse to go get a beer 🍻 George...
Not much went on here yesterday... still pondering where to put the tomatoes 🍅. but that's no biggie.. I'll think of somewhere... eventually 😁.
Our visitor arrived just after lunch..so that was it for the day... spent the rest of the day and evening swapping lies as one does 😜... and he even likes my homebrew 🤬.
Not sure what will happen today.
Oops I almost forgot I made the three Curtin rod's fit..
And Carol made the rest of the curtins... they are all up and look great...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. It's 15⁰ here in Hervey Bay now with not a lot of wind yet. The man says it might get to 23⁰ today with a few showers and some cold wind blowing up from the south.
We are just about finished our mini renovations here now, so today will be a pack up and rest day, if I'm lucky.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

Morning All.

I think tomatoes are best put in the ground.

Drove a about a 140k k yesterday. Stopped at all the railway bridges and such. Nice area around here.

Had a cold beer in the arvo.

Jon, there are a few notable bridges and railway tunnels in that area. You aren't a real long way from the Boolboonda tunnel. It's a road tunnel that you can drive through if you feel the need.
And I'm just checking where the upside down bridge is.
Edit. The Ideraway Creek Rail Bridge. Gayndah.
Edit 2. Fixed some pretty ordinary spelln'

Put the tomatoes in a half wine barrel size pot near the door where they will get a mix of sun and shade. That way you can move them as required, but they will be close enough to grab a few tomatoes as needed.

You could do the same with an egg plant, haven't seen any bacon plants lately, maybe they started as pig face and flew away before they became bacon ;)

There is a guy who sells bacon jam at the Avenel Roadhouse on the Hume Hwy.
Maybe he uses all the bacon plants for his jam.

You need barrels to grow bacon for jam.

Next time I go through Avenel, I'll stop in and ask that bloke selling it. I'm fairly certain he'll know how to make it.
Cheers
