Correct Martin. 
It doesn't appear on most road maps but it's a little cluster of shacks (none under half a mill) about 15km South of Morgan.
The "main" Pelican Point in SA is much further South not far from Mount Gambier.

That looks like an Australian-made Nomad aircraft... built at Fishermens Bend, Melbourne... but they's no hangars in the area to park it at.
So is it in SA?
The Alice Springs Historic Aircraft Museum's RFDS plane is on a pole... so that's not it.
