T1, engage 4x4 hi range then move a bit then engage 4x4 low. You can't do it in one step. At least that's how ours is. But ours is manual, so it may be different
With the auto box you must stop while in 4WD-Hi before pressing the 4Lo button.
You might hear a faint clunk.

I'll wait till I have a bit of clear ground to drive around on so I can experiment with each possible combination. At the moment there are about 5 beeps coinciding with the flashing of the light on the dash and then all returns to normal with just the 4 x 4 light on and no low range light I've tried it stationary, slow crawl, after a short drive in 4 x 4 etc, but no luck so far. It still moves even the heavy vans so not something critical at the moment so I have plenty of time to try all the different possibilities

Certainly make a brilliant yard tractor, much easier to get the vans etc in and out the workshop door .... still need to figure out how to move the 5 'ers though, there are multiple different hitch types so not even a universal dolly will do the trick, still might need to be a forklift if we get to the stage we really need to put them in the workshop. Most are too long to get inside and still close the door so they have to stay outside anyway.

Hmmm..... I did get a few days to recover from the 7 days a week since we returned home in March, probably should have finished it then rather than trying to catch up on lost sleep

I still have to find time to strip the failed inverter(s) down and fix at least one so we have a working inverter in the Hino again so we can use it to recharge the Prius each day, seems a shame to waste the sunshine that we get every so often
Then of course there is the solar to install on the house roof and set that up ...... the batteries built and sitting there waiting, the inverter got removed and put in the Hino so that needs to be replaced, then there's the reeds that have grown up around the solar panels down by the river so now I can't get down to the pump or the panels to get the whole thing going again ...... I really don't seem to have enough spare time to sleep so I should work on removing this non productive part of my daily routine eh

When you've done that Terry can you come and trim mine because I am a little incapacitated? I have some stilts that you can walk along the footpath with in order to get to the top of the hedge.
