Donβt pull it to hard Dot, your tongue might fall off

I think I would be putting in a warranty claim on that

I have been trying to extract the piece of steel from my tongue but it won't budge even when I clasp the forceps on it.
What happens? Does your arm move away every time you get close to the metal bit and your tongue head off in the opposite direction, then your leg jumps and hits your arm and knocks the pliers out of your hand? Use the other hand and you might be able to sneak up on it

Last night I wiggled and jiggled the rogue bit of steel from my arm/ tongue it is about 5mm in length x approx. 1mm thick, I shall be taking it to the surgeon next year and shall find out exactly what it was there for? Now to add to the adventures of the arm I now have a Dupuytren's contracture in the graft hand, GP not wanting any surgical intervention as yet as too close to the tongue jobbie so will be seeing a hand physio for a while. Just one more string to add to the bow

ggrrrr. I have now got into the swing of sucking and nibbling a few of our home grown peaches and blow me down even ate some pasta

Nothing is going to stop me trying to get all the yummy Xmas food down either. Today I made a pav (marshmallow one) a lemon cheesecake and half way through a trifle. How good am I hey?

Update. All wounds healing well, saw a hand therapist for ? Dupuytren's in my R) hand but she thinks it is the result of scar tissue stopping the tendons from "sliding" smoothly so lots of exercises and massage but me thinketh that is not the right diagnosis. Seeing the #1 surgeon on the 12th so he may be able to shed some light on it. Now for the other progress, I have managed to eat a pork chop (minus the bone) and also a very tender steak but disappointed at the lack of taste. It also takes some contortionist acts of the armytongue to get the food to the right side of the mouth before swallowing it. I thought my speech was pretty good but today a woman had trouble understanding me and I very nearly showed her how good my F word comes out perfectly but with the Gman next to me a little tap to my foot did the trick

Imagine that, Gman actually carrying a tap around & having the presence of mind to use it at the appropriate time.
Onya George!
