I get the error 404 a lot but just keep going back and forth (as you do) and it comes right.

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
Oh what an interesting day, two weeks ago my gp said I was to see rheumatologist for my aching hands and feet and puffy feet so I rang for an appointment and was told 4th Feb but an hr later I was rang back from the rooms with a closer appointment ie today so off I went and she tells me she bought my appointment closer because the earlier blood tests the GP had faxed to her showed RRF (ross river fever) so that may explain that rotten thing I had on the way over to 40 mile beach, so more bloods to be done, x/r's of hands and feet plus an ultrasound of my ankle as she suspects a torn ligament, bloody hell this getting old has whiskers on it (along with other things)
But the day got better, The mail person delivered a nice long letter from my friend in NZ, Tanks let us know he & Russell were reunited, we went to our friends place and loaded the car with more stuff for the op shop, delivered some excess baby wear to another charity, went to the court house near us to see if a case we are interested in was able to be sat in on (YES) as it is just the plea hearing and we are not involved in it, get home and find out that Keevo52 will be arriving here tomorrow so we can go watch the boys in Lycra just down the street and close by for the next few days

Dot, have you got anything left to catch? RRF is not one of the better things to collect in your travels, not the sort of souvenir I would recommend. Take it very easy young lady. xxx

Just about got the house in order now, did the garage over the past cupla days, including replacing the work bench top - that compressed sawdust looking, extremely heavy stuff that just crumbles as it gets older or swells when it gets wet - with a new top. Naice Dut.

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
An interesting read up on the Wiki about ross River Fever, depression and chronic fatigue syndrome can be part of the after effects that lasts for yrs. The joint problems etc are a result of the bodies immune system reaction to the desease it appears, not the disease itself. But one definite is fatigue ending in chronic fatigue if you keep pushing the envelope, so ease up on the op shop and other stuff Dottie, or chronic fatigue will force you out of it all together for 12 mths or more. The disease is serious enough to be part of the aged notifiable disease register so it's regarded as a serious for seniors.... not that you are a senior yet Dottie, but take more care of yourself, getting more than the normal rest appears to be a must to avoid the worst of the after effects.

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
Had the best ever day today, even had bloods taken x 9 vials and a wee spec for tomorrow along with the X/Rs and ultrasound
Waiting for the Strath day for the Lycra boys. I reckon a poofta mozzie must have got me hey I saw on the bloods they are also checking for hep this could be interesting as I had a suction bottle full of yucky stuff splash in my eyes and the patient was a hep b but I doubt it very much if there is anything terribly wrong, nothing but old age is gunna get this old bird. Thought I already had chronic fatigue or so Gman says so. Yep taking time away from the op shop for a while we shall have visitors and they come first plus a little forum BBQ gathering on Sunday for the local wallies to meet up.. all good this end.xx another thread has some good news

Yes you want to look after yourself first & take it easy until you at least know the out come of the tests.
