Good morning everyone. Its a beautiful sunny morning here, might get to 29⁰. I've just got back from visiting the physio. Niggling pain in my lower back. Always happens when i try to drag stuff. Operator error, from moving the trailer.
George, do you get the pins and needles as well?
Bernie, I do the same, but still manage to lose a fuel cap every cuppla years. Luckily ours is a generic repco one.
Jon, have fun with the golf.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
George sounds like nerve jamming, same as I get. I have radiofrequency therapy fine hollow needles in beside the spine and a high frequency sound which burns the nerve. They do grow back. And a cortisone shot in the S1 sacroiliac joint.
Can get up to 6 months relief of pain but ove4 the years it will have less effects. Need to see a specialist. Cheers Robert

Re: Good morning daily
Try sleeping without a pillow .... it takes a while to get the feel for it after a life time of sleeping with a pillow, but the pains you are describing sound like nerve pinching in the neck.Newcastle George wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 9:18 amJon, new mattress, changed beds and pillows, no effect. The pain would occur in upper left side of back and left arm all the way down to top of fingers. Tried sleeping on back, left and right side and stomach, results the same.
During the day I have no problem.
George
If that is the cause, there are exercises that must be followed in the order they are listed, do not be tempted to do the head roll that gets the most "cracks" out of the neck, this leads to trapping nerves rather than releasing them .....

Re: Good morning daily
Missed Robert's post, try the exercises first, the aim is to retrain the muscles to hold the gaps apart so the nerves can move freely. Over the yrs and after damage, the body naturally tightens muscles to move away from what it believes is causing the pain, it often doesn't get it right and just makes the pain move to somewhere else ....
As Robert said, the scaring from the nerve burning gradually increases the thickness in that area creating a greater area to rejoin but also the get trapped.
Some older Chinese specialists know the nerve maps instinctively, they can pinpoint the problem nerve using needles and actually cut a section of the nerve away making it too far for the nerve to rejoin ..... that takes a lot of faith to let someone cut nerves in your neck .... almost like letting someone put needles in your eyes ....

Good morning.
Another slowish day.... almost like a day off
..
I had a win with the Hino sale track... the one on the Hino is identical to the supplied tracks...so I only have to add a little bit to it..I have to remove a plate that's used as a strengthening for the top bracket...I will have a go of removing it today...it's got the same glue holding it on... plus 6 selftapping screws
The temperature has only been in the mid 30s...so not as bad as it has been..
So not a lot planned for today..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Another beautiful sunny morning here on the GC. Might get to 27⁰. The heatwave hasn't arrived here, yet.
We've just taken the MiL out for brekky, she's starting to feel a bit better. Did not do very much again yesty. Might try for the same today.
Safe travels all those out and about.

Good morning everyone.
I finally got back to the Hino...I had to remove the old piece of metal that was put on for the old awning arm.
It was held on with 6 screws and what looks like Araldite.
And of course one of the screws didn't want to undo..
So I had to use a chisel to brake it's hold... probably one hour of frustration
before it moved...
Next was the arildite was removed with the help of my map gun...I was surprised how easy it came off...
I then gave the area a coating of bog to cover the screw holes... today I will send it down...so I'm getting closer to having the new awning fitted... I hope
.
The money for the new fuel cap is out of my account..so hopefully it's on its way
But first it's bacon and eggs day... when herself gets up...
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.
