Keep your eye on that bog Bernie.
Diff expansion rate to metal may cause it to leak.
Sometimes simple roof & gutter is best for flex & seal.
Heading for a hot one here.
Be impossible to burn much up here now the 'wet' is here. Poor little Winny started sinking in this black soil. (Mud)
Terry I gotta test out that torque multiplier shortly. I see inside lefty (Isuzu) has lost pressure. Are they left hand unwindy thingo's?
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its another bright sunny day here. Might get a storm later.
Spent most of yesty measuring and checking and doing a bit of fridge research. The left hand opening part reduces the number of choices, unfortunately. Still no idea what we'll get. I just know that it won't be gas.
Bruce, the LHS on ours is LH thread, you should see an L on the inner nut and on the stud when you get it apart. If you don't want it to sink into the black ground get some 400mm square pavers and park it on them. Works on the black ground at Mulwala.
No bacon here today, just egg on toast. I'll be off to the butchers shortly, gunna do a bit of cooking today.
Safe travels all those out and about.

Re: Good morning daily
They work in either direction Bruce, but don't be tempted to do them up using the torque multiplier, the studs shear off the next time you try to remove the nuts .... not gunna say how I know that oneBruceS wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 6:57 am Keep your eye on that bog Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Been travelling round Tas with a friend from overseas who has been to many countries including Aus a couple of times, but first time in Tas. Met them at a gig decades ago when they requested a song and mentioned the lady used to be in a band, so dragged her up to sing after her hubby said she used to be the lead singer in the band before they met. She was very reluctant but we convinced her it would be cool as Aussies appreciated anyone who has a go and she has a great voice, plays guitar and keyboards. Introduced her as a guest vocalist so she couldn't refuse and once we'd worked out the key and song, she blew the audience and us away, ended up doing an entire set with us. Even got down on one knee in front of them and asked her to marry me and leave her bloke, luckily they had a good sense of humour and laughed their heads off, from that point on we became friends and they even came to two more gigs as we were playing the sth coast of NSW during a summer.
We've kept in touch since, sadly he died early this year and so invited her to come to Tas and check it out and to get her out of her comfort zone and mourning misery, luckily her family encouraged her to come. Landed over 2 weeks ago and we've been cruising Tas and having a ball, she is completely blown away by Tas and keeps saying it's the most beautiful place on the planet. I've taken her to places very few touro's go and to a hidden rain forest only accessible through state forest and 4x4, it sits in a small valley on the edge of a cliff and is so peaceful and spectacular. Got home last Tuesday day with a couple a surprises wasn't expecting, a new dog, bike and trailer combination. Had to take a trailer to Wynyard to pick up the bike etc and she said that trip was exciting, don't know why. But we did do an unexpected open mic at a pub, we took a couple of guitars with us and did 3 songs which we did jamming together at night at where ever we stayed. Always holiday homes for cooking bedrooms and peace and quite, that allowed dogs and so good to play with some one again.
The bikes a Yamaha Vstar 1100 and been taking my guest with me to check out surf and just for a buzz over the last couple of days, the smile hasn't left her face, especially when took her on the extremely winding coast road which has a great surface and little traffic, also has some up and down hill series of "S" bends, it's a bikies dream. Nice bikes Vstars, much lighter than the VTX 1800 but not as powerful, great cruising bike.
Now we are home and I've got a 12 week old pissing and shitting little monster on my hands, but he's lovable and Bindi is happy again. Even though he climbs all over her, bites her legs eats her food, steals her bed and generally harasses her constancy, when he's not asleep. Luckily he's a kelpie and they learn so fast and when there's another kelpie teaching him and a lady at that, he's on a steep learning curve as she keeps him in line and has really grown up, become very motherly in the last week or so. His name is Jasper and he travelled with us for a week, which resulted in finding laundries, buying extra coverings for their bed in the back, cleaning out the back at almost every stop and regularly stopping. So a couple of nice weeks.

Good morning..
More work on the Hino... sanding... the bog I'm using is a metallic mixed with fibre... and when the awning finally gets into position..it will cover my good work
..
It's been raining here since around 4 am now I won't need to water the veggies
..
There has been some shady business going on in the neighbourhood...one of our motion lights came on last week... since then I have been putting my trails camera out... so far nothing... police have been pretty active as well... everyone knows who... but they need to be caught with evidence so the police can intervene...
My day off and Carol will be off to bingo
..
Those fires in the woy woy area are not good
We have friends who lives there... don't know if they are effected..
Keep safe.
Bernie.
