Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all.

Make a small hole at the cord/ wall end and thread a length of fishing line through it. Then drag the cord using the fishing line - which is skinny enough to fit through the slot and under the yellow material guide.
Your awning drum has 3 through holes, the one I have has two through holes and I believe Bernie has the same awning make .....

Good morning everyone. Its another beautiful sunny morning here. We have a heatwave warning for this weekend. And we might get a storm, maybe.
I hope both Terry and Bernie can manage to get their awnings sorted out, but it is making for some interesting reading.
Take care in the heat everybody. Safe travels all those out and about. The traffic is a bit crazy at the moment.
Cheers

Either dry silicon spray or empty some talc or baby powder all along the material.
Bernie is that "rope" actually a solid length of nylon?
I wonder if you can drill a ouple of very small holes thru it & tie some brickies line on it to pull it?
By the time you get 3/4 of the way you might not be able to push it.
Make sure all tension is off the material!
All good...cept for a blunder... whilst pushing the cord/rope through I didn't notice the top was moving along at the same time ..
So we had to pull it all out again ... but it wouldn't come back across at the top...so on the phone to our neighbour.. and with the help of dishwasher liquid we finally got it to where it should be...and screwed it.. probably like I should have at the beginning
So now I only have to put the tension on. The roller... after consulting the manual.
Thanks for all the suggestions .
Bernie.

Bernie, question.
How does the strut lock into the leg near the roller?
There is plate that sides up and down with a hole about the size of a 10c piece. In the roller end of the arm, there is a spring loaded button that fits into the 10 cents piece size hole and locks it in place, simple thumb press and it releases to allow the piece of plate to slide back down ready for rolling in the awning ..... works much better than the new awning that was on the Fuso .....

I did 10 full turns to set a base count to let it roll up and see if it is going up evenly and how many more turns to get it all the way up ...... except it wanted to roll up inside out
