Good morning.
Yes Terry that's the mob who's video I watched
.
Another slowish day... only three more sleeps before departure.. still packing
The wind blew for much of the day..
Police came back to the people across the street, carried something out and put it into the cops car ??
All our Maria trees are in full bloom... thousands of bee's native and introduced plus some of the larger bumble bees.. it's good to see
It's overcast here but will burn off once the sun comes out.. it's just appearing now... another warm one on the way..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

"tanks" here---
Today's report is 16 °C to 35 °C in the WA mid-west wheatbelt.
At this stage, there is no further activity to remark on except that the Gomalling Chemist will deliver more pain relief medication and my usual order of Light & Easy food supply for the next 2 weeks.
The Goomalling Chemist is two towns away---You wouldn't get that service living in the cities.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Good morning daily
Keith, our chemist stopped deliveries locally a couple of years ago, no idea how folk that can’t drive get their medication.
Better temperature prediction for today, 46c is way too hot.

Re: Good morning daily
I lost my reading glasses somewhere outside a week ago, I am losing them on a regular basis and as I was chucking the let over bird seed out I found the glasses sitting in the driveway. Must of been when I was spraying the weeds. I also have 2 pair at home and 1pr in the car. Giving David a run for his money.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. There is a fire up in the local conservation park about 1km to the east of us. It started as a controlled burn, apparently. The smoke has made its way into everywhere. Hasn't been much fun trying to sleep. You can just taste it.
I think we are far luckier than the people down near Longwood in Victoria though. That fire is going to burn for a while yet.
Stay safe everybody.

Good morning.
Just two more sleeps
..
As Dave sez.. copy and paste day..
Except for across the street...old mate turned up with a BMW on a car trailer... with no wheels on it and the car trailer had grass and weeds stuck on it...30 minutes later two police officers and two detective's turned up... they took something from the property and put it into the car
... they were there for two hours... and would you believe... police don't touch tap on the BMW...I was sure they would have taken someone away... but didn't..?
Can't wait for the next instalment

Some more packing and fiddling today..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

"tanks" here---
Hello, all forum members, those awake and still asleep.
It's bloody cold over here in the WA Wheatbelt with the present temp at 14 °C and expected to reach 26 °C around 3 pm this afternoon. After almost a week of mid-40s, it's a bit of a shock on the body, and the air conditioner is running on heat.
The Telstra network has been out of order for several days, possibly due to fires closer to Perth. This halts text and phone service, and when the signal is available, it only permits half a minute of contact before dropping out.
