If SWMBO didn't cook when we're OTR, we'd both starve!
I can burn water preparing a cuppa! :P

Ray, I think the intention might be to 'pre cook' meals, freeze them then simply thaw & heat as required.

We have recently bought ourselves an airsuckerouterer type thingy machine - forget it's proper name - with the intention of doing just that.

As an aside, it's amazing what you can stick in one of those bag thingys ... Navigator has now sucked the air outa such things as unseasonal clothing & blankets & we now have extra space for more 'stuff'.

Unfortunately, reducing the size of 'stuff' does not mean you also reduce the weight of said 'stuff'.

That's the idea, pre cooked and frozen meals and also the suckerouter thingy for meat like steaks, vegs. Just like the mans tool box, a freezer with food is a must esp for the Magnum ice creams when on special..

A little run down on how we eat, here or on the road.

We don't buy fast food never been in Macca's...sorry Macca.
We don't eat processed food no pizza no pasta or variants of.
Don't eat soft food ice cream being the exception.
I don't eat cereal but Carol does (keeps her regular ?)
Love fish and chips. last hols with granddaughter she tasted chips made from real spuds for the first time they just use that packaged stuff.
That's all we need.
But I have the occasional beer or 2/3/4/5/6/6/6/6/ opps. wwwhere was IIII 7/8888 bugga.
None of what we eat is or can be precooked.
Bernie.

we use the freezer for meat and some frozen vege, sometimes milk and occasionally bread
toying with getting an icemaker
precooked, well, too much space in our book. How can you precook bacon and eggs?
