Deb,
Thanks for the update.
The item I saw was the intro to the stoush.
I thought it was such a ridiculous thing to argue about.
An RSL-sponsored bowling club being criticised by their own sponsor! for using the phrase!! 🙄
Thank goodness commonsense prevailed.
As for Dottie’s comment:
I still think changing the name of Coon Cheese was a ridiculous overreach by the PC squad. The developer of this type of cheese was a Dr Coon!
It’s as silly as insisting that Philadelphia Cheese be renamed because there’s already a state of that name.
That’s where it was developed. Der!
Nobody insisted that Apple change the name of the Macintosh computer, even though it is not only the name of an apple variety, but there is also a type of raincoat of that name!
And while the Black Boy plant’s scientific name is Xanthorrhoea, it’s so hard to spell, let alone pronounce, that most people use the common name. 😊
I doubt that will change.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Don't think trump is worth worrying about Terry, when I look at the current state of the planets human population and all the different scenarios playing out or looming ahead of us. It really looks like a true doomsday and when we look at history, when societies/cultures reach their ideological peak, they collapse internally fast. By fast I mean over a decade or so, because in the reality of universal time, a human decade doesn’t even register in universal time.

Trumps has some health issues which he's trying to hide, especially his very swollen legs and ankles. Which is a sign of oedema and that's closely associated with chronic circulatory and heart disease and he does look wasted at many meetings lately, so he may not be wit us much longer. Next in line is Vance and he and Hegseth were both booed heavily when they entered an airport, Vance is an ex marine, but dumb as a dead rock and Hegseth who is the head of defence, is just a Fox journalist and has no experience in military matters whatsoever. So if trump carks it whilst in office, who knows what will happen, but it will be interesting that's fo sure.

I watched that video where trump and his men were talking on the bus about women and grabbing their meow, he is the most disgusting piece of excreta hanging off a sheeps bum. he is not a man by any stretch of imagination.. Who actually has named the USA the leader of everyone on this earth? certainly not me they don't. I would come face to face with a black samba. If people cant see how putin plays this guy is a lesson in life.

Classic Dottie, love the punch line, "Epstein files disappeared faster than the bullet hole on Trumps ear"

I see Trump is now about to use an unproven allegation to sack the head of the Federal Reserve, Govenor Lisa Cook, because she won't lower interest rates so he can borrow cheaper for his real estate deals he has in the pipeline.

Everyone who did basic maths understands that this will hasten the depression the US is headed towards at a blinding pace .... but that will just make property prices drop so he can buy even more .......

He can no longer afford to buy gold, you need actual money to buy that stuff, not theoretical wealth, a billion dollars in crypto currency is not actual money until you can get someone to buy it with real money ..... there is no such thing as digital gold, much like the big investments in virtual art a while back, gold is not something that is bought with virtual money, it is the base of all true wealth .....
Trump is betting on buying property low and selling it high, even though he doesn't actually have the real money to buy it
