No..... The biggest mistake I ever made ...... well one of them anyway, was to open a profile there thinking it would be a good thing....... I can not close it, I still get emails trying to entice me back and it would be 3 yrs or more since I've even looked at it.

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
Umm... the other day I was sitting on the loo & thinking it was maybe time I emptied the cassette... then another log dropped into the equation... literally dropped in. In fact it was standing to attention!!!
Yep, definitely time to empty it.
So after doing the usual - on completion of making a deposit - I went outside, removed the cassette & was about to put it in the Cruiser & take it to the dump point when I realised that the latest 'drop in' was gunna take some getting out.
The dump point wasn't that far away & the road was in good condition so very little jiggling was gunna happen along the way to help break up the monster.
Hmm... OK. Will do a bit of jiggling with it here before I head off... so... jiggle, jiggle, jiggle for a cupla minutes, place the cassette on the ground, slide the cover back & twist the nob - settle Dot - to open the flap - settle Dot.
What happened next was quite a surprise.
I hadn't realised that shaking the shit - literally - out of the cassette would create pressure inside the cassette.
You know where this is going don'tcha... ?
As the flap was opened I was leaning over the area to look inside hoping to see no big lumps, but I didn't get to see anything - other than a vertical spray of the cassette contents approaching my face at a rapid rate.
Fortunately, my eyes closed before contact was made.
But...
Yeah, always a but...
My mouth was quickly opening - in sheer surprise - at the speed with which this was happening.
It didn't taste good.
Brushing the teeth helped.
Brushing the gums helped even more.
Brushing the tongue helped the most - eventually.
The rest of the day was mostly taken up with checking the mirror for extra 'freckles'.

I know this is way out, but man I'm glad I'm not in Katrina's shoes. Goes like this; "give us a kiss sweetheart". "Are you kidding? No way, I know where that face has been!".Chuck wrote:The rest of the day was mostly taken up with checking the mirror for extra 'freckles'.
dawg (this is the stuff of nightmares - if I even get to sleep)
Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.

You don't think Chuck would make crap like that upShirley wrote:How disgusting is that story true?

Now, what would have been even funnier is if Chuck had taken the honey pot to the dump point, shaken it there, then suffered the spray and wipe but no where to wash up..... well we would have thought it was funny Chuck

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
I did have a good laugh at his latest episode of the gaseous nature so that is why I went to the new dump point with him just in case he did something else stupid and I would be there to witness it but the dump went without incident

He has the last laugh right now as today I had a steroid inj into my R) shoulder again and this arvo I had to see an oral surgeon about a persistent lesion on the side of my tongue. Turned out I had 2 biopsy's cut out and some little stitches in the little waggler. Instructions were 1/No talking for 4 hrs
2/ no eating lumpy foods for a few days, 3/ salt water mouth washes in 2 days & no teeth cleaning either.
4/ take pain killers when needed but ouch they hurt when trying to swallow. So by the time we got home late this arvo the drums were a bangin in the head and mouth was like I had eaten the hottest chillies in the world, G went out to tell the yard dwellers of the events and I heard lots of evil laughter coming from a certain caravan. (G thinks he is in heaven) but I shall bide my time
Colin & Jenny have been touring all day and when G went to let them know of the events they were so much more polite, no belly laughing but a smile would have been the go
If anyone has ever had their tongue cut they will know the pain.. Can't talk, cant swallow too well, (dribble very well) cant eat lumpy food drink hot drinks, Oh the pain
I shall make up for this in time.

Maybe you need a good nip or 2 of scotch to kill any infection of course, seriously hope the pain eases & you are able to get a good nights sleep, sounds a horrible experience.
