Sorry how would I know "Native Pepper" still found the posts interesting to read, sounds like the system is working good & that's the main thing.
We'll just stick with our lead acid batteries for now.

Got my numbers wrong, it was 4 mths in a caravan park at $30 per day. Close enough to 600Busman wrote:400 ah at 12 V ?
Ah @ 12v, but in this case 300Ah @ 24v

Hmm...well I guess that's what we have to put up with when there is little or no information in the profile area.T1 Terry wrote: She Shirley, not he, but I guess she will forgive you.

Re: Lithium Batteries, who has them?
Terry, a pl20 is not a 40amp solar charge controller, but a 20amp and not plug and play for lifepo4 in any way. They cost over $300 and a pl40 over $400 retail, plus freight. Have no idea what the retail cost of the ones I am using are, but was told they are below $500 installed and don't need programming in any way. The 60amp charge controllers we ordered with slowie are still to come in the next month or so, then will probably have very little to do with the Stone kids after that obligation is over.
As with just about all commercial battery products, pl20 and dingos are designed for lead acid and have float and other parameters which require to be programmed out or shut off, they are not dedicated lifepo4 controllers in any way. The ones I have are plug in and forget, a big difference for those not technically minded or who just want something they can plug in and forget, like me. My understanding is they are not programmable, so fools can't play with and bugger up the systems as these are designed as part of a full solar off grid installation, not hobbiests. Fools will read some crap on line and change the setting, shortening cell life and probably stuffing the system.
As for your fanciful claims of commercialisation, good laugh bordering on slander, but as with most of your life, way off the mark in truth. Have no business, economic or technical association with them at all and only got them because was in league with slowhand and some others as a buying group in Tas. That finished with his death and those left in the group have yet to decide whether they want or need to continue with it and deal with the manufacturers or Stone kids, which without slowie, may not be feasible. Personally when the 60amp arrive and the rest of my cells, have all I want or need for the foreseeable future and will be fully self sufficient in food, fuel and energy, can you say that, or even get close.
Where you get these fanciful delusionary lies from is beyond me, but in line with certain well known psychological traits. Since having to do my own research, have come across your input on many forums, which has given me a good insight into what you are and that is certainly not someone who helps others, hut someone who is loath to give information and help. Unless you have control over all of it. Which is probably why you have been thrown off many forums, you make claims and the refuse to provide the information to support them, because someone may get to know what you know and how pathetically infantile is that.
Then we have your next bizarre lie, which reveals your sexism, gender bias and another good laugh. So where did you learn a couple of days ago about my gender, then get it completely the opposite. Or is your frustration regarding not having all the lime light getting to you again, as it has done in the past on other forums.
You are a wanna be, you claim all this knowledge yet refuse to divulge it to anyone other than those you choose, providing nothing for the market or to enhance the lives of travellers or those trying to live in the 21st century economically safely and environmentally, is that psychopathic paranoia or what. Yet there are many others, including the Stones who not only make money from their research, but are happy to tell others about it and help them out. Although now slowhand has gone, that may change as they have their own lives to live and we are oldies to them.
I'm a muso, not a technical person and to be honest, don't have a clue about what I am doing with this technology, but learning a lot. Only been putting my experience here with lifepo4 because you asked me to, but now understand your negative agenda behind that. Which is another good laugh as is those backing you up and supporting your lies.

Re: Lithium Batteries, who has them?
NP what I am amused about is that you seem to think that these controllers are the bees knees and far better than anything else there is ever likely to be, while some of us have been using these batteries for a few years now, some with quite some technical expertise, and understand there are many ways to do things, and that much equipment designed for LA batteries is fine to work with Liths.
You are right, this was great forum, but when people use it to vent, it brings it back to the level of the old CMCa one.
I personally think an apology is in order

Why are you here? Clearly, you don't need help from anybody on this site.native pepper wrote:Terry, a pl20 is not a 40amp solar charge controller, but a 20amp and not plug and play for lifepo4 in any way. Re: Lithium Batteries, who has them?
Well, sorry if I have offended you, someone told me Native Pepper was a female but they must have got it wrong, I was just passing on what I was told.
In regards to the PL20/Dingo 20/20N or P they can be drive a solid state relay array due to their build and program adaptability, all settings are programmable so they are suitable for all types of battery. A few mins on their web site would have told you all this and more.
I don't wish to antagonise you any more so I'll just let your rant ride, those that know me know that it is a long way from the truth so I see no need to defend myself.
