To be honest I was surprised they did rebuild it.
Spent more than one night drinking in that pub on my travels years ago.
One of my mates rolled his semi coming down off the hill heading N into Rankin Springs. Load of small bales of hay heading to drought stricken Bathurst at the time.
Bruce, we were in the pub maybe 3 years ago and the pics were there then. It looks the same from the outside. We also were there on Good Friday this year but obviously the pub wasn't open. Luckily I have copies of all the pics if they have been destroyed in the fire. I will check the dates on my pics.

Brad Chuck said to send it to him so he can see what you are on about. That herc plane is back again doing it's training stuff. Very interesting to watch. We are heading off tomorrow towards Hay via Rankin Springs to go to the pub. Bit of a cool wind today but the sun was out and no rain . I had a nasty headache this morning so the other 5 headed into town for the cancer appeals Morning tea and they ended up having their pic taken by the local photographer so now we have "celebs" in our midst

Lucky you Dot, We had 3days travelling in the rain.On the Mooney Highway???? today what a shocker potholes and undulations galore.Thought the van was falling apart...

I searched, but could not find the 2013 Gentile Annie Misty Gully smoke house field trip and lunch photo of Margaret winning this contest with the trifle bowl, but alas I do not have.
