Weathers great up this way David high 20's to low 30' and no rain.
We also went over to Horn Island while we were in the area.
And no not New Guinea, tho I tried to convince a German tourist it was (losing my touch)
We are leaving Mareeba today and going to the coast at Babinda for a cuppla days.
We are at the half way mark and will slowly head south (very slowly).

We are camped up in my nephews place in Townsville.
And yes I was at the V8s.
Was a great day first time I have been to the V8s
Might have to get a part time job to pay for the day now (expensive).

You might have even passed Steve (Ozfueler) I think he was also going.. Great isn't it, the smell and the noise of those motors, arhhhh heaven but Oh yes so expensive. Where are you heading for next and how has the leg been?

Hi Dot, we are hading home from here(slowly) in reality we are only 2 days from home if I wished, but there are a cuppla places we wish to see first.
It will depend on the temp its 27.6 while I type this just after 4pm.
But alot colder down our way plus rain, so will stay warm as long as we can.
