Martin how is the left hand driving going?
Must be strange using the other hand to use gearstick?

Re: our excellent adventure.
Slow connection this morning meant we could not get the Gracelands visit up, later today/tonight.
Bruce, I am struggling with the other side driving, hard not to keep dropping the offside wheel into the scrub. Not to mention trying to follow the GPS!
Caroline on the other hand is less rigid than me about sides and is doing way better, so she is doing most of the driving at the moment.
That way we both wind up less tense! The other unnerving thing is the speed, most of the road is 70 mph, but it seems like its an invite rather than a given, we are sitting on 75 and getting passed by trucks trailers and the occasional rv. 40 mph is the minimum city speed, and most of its 45 or 50
Most lanes we have been on so far was a stretch that was 6 lanes each way, plus on and off ramps.Raining and 70 mph limit
At least the f350 the motorhome is built on has plenty of grun to go with the colum mounted auto. Indicators etc is just like the swagman, so no problems there..

They seem to be having a blast alright but if you knew Caroline you would understand that , (She is one full on fun lady)dapope wrote:We had an interesting afternoon, but rather than me dribbling on each day, here is the blog link my better half is doing http://carolinewardburt.wix.com/numba8
Hopefully it will be updated reasonably often.
Feel free to ask any questions. Bussing around works out pretty cheap. $3 for transport today......

Re: our excellent adventure.
Basically, anything that goes on facebook goes in the blog Shirley. I will repost the link periodically. For now, most stuff is in the american part, the Main page outlines the planned adventure. Hope that helps clarify ☺

Re: our excellent adventure.
Great to read about your travels, especially since we were doing something similar in 2012, Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans, Tombstone, Route 66, etc etc....would go back in a heartbeat, but still got lots to see here.
