Given that I ordered and paid for it on Thursday in Perth, I thought that was pretty good. I paid 2000 for the unit and 250 freight, so 100 extra to support a local business. Now to magic it onto the roof....
Which gas does it say it uses, the old R410A or the newer R32A, or hydrocarbon R600a or R290? HyChill make blended hydrocarbon refrigerants that replace the older A134a and 404a refrigerants but they seem to be only used in the aftermarket regas area, they don't seem to have been taking up by the major manufacturers.

I have seen several Aussie MHs using 115 v aircons, you can still buy them here.
What Chassis do you have Martin? (answer is NOT low hung)
Hope the air movement you get from the new aircons is an improvement.

Got a frightliner (Oshkosh) chassis....6 speed pushbutton allison auto, and 5.9 cummins...
It does get along...
Only one air con to see how we go, reccommended for 7.5 m length...all the windows have blinds and curtains, so we should be sweet.. the bedroom one is quite new, and works well. Just a power pig..

So, its in..and it works...max draw when I cranked it tonight was 88.7ampsbut some of that could have been other items too...28amps was the lowest I saw. Couldnt hear it at all outside. Installation pretty straight forward. Like I was warned, its a little longer, had to remove a solar panel. I thought the fan noisy, but I dont see how you can reduce that without reducing effectiveness. Certainly a nicer looking unit than the old one.

You are in a unique position to do a direct comparison as both units are in the same motorhome. Looking forward to a longer term evaluation such as how it handles the temp compared to the other unit and a comparison of noise both inside and out and power consumption between the 2 units.

It draws about 40a less than the other. I reckon I could now run both at once. ...till the battries cry foul! Cant get the sleep mode to run. Maybe cause its daylight, but its 26 inside and over 30 outside. Temp set to 24 so happy with that.

Would you say its average draw was 80 amps @ 12v or 60 amps at 12v maintaining the 26*C.... or is it still sat full load trying to get down to the 24*C?

I will have to swap to batteries. Holding at the set 24 though and not working hard. On bottom fan and sleep setting. Only 31 outside though

Ok, had a play. Runs hard at about 80 amps, and then ticks at 26 to 28 amps. I dont know what 80amps at 12v is, but the lower setting will run on a 360w inverter. I think an overnight run could be possible, but getting the batteries back up would be fun! Not getting all my solar at the moment. Too much shade and two panels off, definitely less power use though. Just turned it off, Caroline feeling the cold at 24...
