Where is this?

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

And the big cigar goes to Swisslulu!

Congrats Lesley. I thought that would have everyone guessing for a lot longer.
Proves that us mob is really well-travelled, and visit some out-of-the-way monuments.

The noose is a reference to the punishment meted out to the perpetrators of a heinous murder.
According to the stone marker nearby (just out of shot) four white settlers were ambushed and speared by a group of aboriginals objecting to the whites taking their hunting ground. The whites are buried at the spot (they were dead at the time. :D)
The aboriginals were taken to Mullewa where a judge found them guilty (surprise!) and sentenced them to death. They were brought back to the scene of the crime and hanged, then buried in an unmarked grave somewhere nearby. It was supposed to be a lesson for other members of the tribe, not to mess with the colonists.

Colonial justice...

OK persons,
You'll see buildings like this old de-licensed pub dotted all over Oz.
Can anyone identify this particular one?

Not even telling which state... that would make it easier.

GIVE THAT MAN A CIGAR!
Got it in one, Toolman.
I guess you've been there....
(O'course, you have an advantage... it's 'just down the road' for you: about 120km NE)
That's where I broke my leg.
Eight days driving to get there, and broke my NOF on the evening of the second day of wildflower touring. :(
Huge metropolis, Pindar: one ex-pub (now a seasonal cafe - in wildflower season), railway siding shed (no longer connected to the rail system) and ONE house! :P

:? Time for someone else to put up a pic...
