Ended up in Hollywood Hospital in Perth, had my Gallbladder removed.

Should be out today.

Did they do the blow you up like a balloon and 4 small cuts? or the open up down the middle job? That blow up like a balloon was the method they used on me, up and walking the next morning but the chest and shoulder joints hurt like blazes for days after, apparently a result of the air bubble still trapped in the gut cavity. sadly it didn't fix my pain problem, turned out to be a severely ulcerated oesophagus but wasn't discovered for yrs.

Actually the real truth is that Terry brought the bad weather to WA...

... but we'll forgive him as he brought us lithium [emoji23]

Fortunately it was the 4 little cuts and a gut for of air. Glad they didn't do the cut and shut.

Maybe from the general.

It can affect people different ways and sometimes takes quite a while to fully come good. esp' after a big sleep.

I had to go through a whole re-education of my digestive system after the gallbladder removal, coffee took the longest to re-introduce. Eggs require a slow as you go and omelette seemed to be the safest introduction, boiled eggs still give me hell sometimes even after close to 20 yrs since the op. seems to affect people differently but you will soon gather a list of the things that need to be eaten with care.
