I picked up the new inverter in Broome on Friday and fitted it today. so far so good. The enerdrive back up service over the phone is very good.
My preference was for winston cells and your management system. I believe the T1 settings are the way to go for a long life out of the battery.
I have changed the settings on the ePRO that operates the Blue sea enerdrive relay so it will operate as a back up battery protection system. The ePRO only covers SOC and voltage.
Looking forward to coming past next year and having a beer with you and the rest of the mob. Might even have enough time to check out Bruce's house boat.

Glad to hear it all worked out ok and that fixed the problem .... did they tell you that you could keep the old inverter

Re: Lithium installs on the Sabbath!
No, enerdrive want to bench test the inverter to see if they need to make modifications.
The inverter consumes 2.5 amps at idle, I have not tested the inverter in power saving mode.
When we go home I am going to connect up the hot water to the inverter, we have more power than we can use.

power saving mode is a pain in the harse IMHO. Doesnt actually save much power, fan cuts in and out, etc. Dont get too excited

Re: Lithium installs on the Sabbath!
The Projecta IP2000 on econo mode actually seems to drop to no power draw until it senses a load. The new fridges with the LED lights aren't enough of a load to turn the inverter on but as soon as the fridge attempts to cycle on the inverter comes back to life and the light comes on. Haven't tried one of the new switchmode wall warts to see if they apply enough load while charging nothing to hold the inverter in powered mode, hope not because that will save heaps of battery wastage.

In Wilbor I had a Selectronic inverter and on standby it used nothing, A couple of years ago I bought a new tv at Winton while on a trip to Birdsville cause the State of Origin was coming up and ours died. The new tv didn’t use enough power to keep the inverter from going to standby, had to put a 240 light on as well

Selectronic are right up there at the top of the range much like Latronics, expensive but they work well and last a long time and even if they die you can send it back to the factory and at a low cost they will rebirth it.Wilbor wrote: ↑Mon Jun 04, 2018 4:28 pm In Wilbor I had a Selectronic inverter and on standby it used nothing, A couple of years ago I bought a new tv at Winton while on a trip to Birdsville cause the State of Origin was coming up and ours died. We have a brand new Latronics 1500w PSW one here still in the box that a customer left here for us to try and sell for him. Trade price from the supplier it was $1536 for a 1500w inverter 2 yrs ago but we haven't found anyone who wants to pay the $1100 asking price for it.
