We've got VAST ourselves, now.

Any idea why we can't get WIN?

Cheers

Basically WIN TV is only Ch 7, 9 & 10 on relay to "country areas".
Where we live all 9 channels (3 of each) are all broardcast over WIN's antenna.
If you check put the programming guide you'll pick it up.
All the news channels are the only major difference.

What you receive depends on what area or "Bouquet" you selected when you registered as a traveler (or the area you live in as a fixed location)

Go to:
http://www.sattvguide.com.au
and set your region (Bouquet) then browse the different channels.

Thanks guys....

We had a hiccup with it recently when we were in Queensland, ...one evening we were all set to watch Blacklist when suddenly we weren't allowed to watch any channel but WA channels. Turned out that someone had phoned in to say they were now on WA and the VAST people had changed ours not the other peoples. So they changed it back the next day....but didn't tell us that when you phone to tell them you have changed States, you have to have the thing turned on at the time of phoning...

We had it on for three hours before it gave us Queensland!

We now know!

Funny that, I am still at home and I get every thing. Neighbours thought I was mad. Sitting in a chair on the front lawn watching sat TV with the BBQ going off the new spear fitting.

We don't change our State settings, we keep our original "Bouquets" for SA no matter where we are. We seem to get multiple state channels even so.

Only contact with VAST is to reset licence each six months.

No, we are sticking with what we have now! It was only because we suddenly got WA ONLY that we had to phone them at all!

Finally away for a weekend(4 days) got the dish out. 10 minutes to unpack and get signal. Best picture
we have ever had on this TV. Just got to sort out switching from the outside outlet to the inside outlet.

Taken the plunge ourselves and just ordered the kit. Just another dent in the budget. Going to blame Bruce for this one.....
