Yes, tanks has settled in Dysart.
The Winter Bunker is now the Spring place waiting to see what Summer will bring.

We departed the bunker around lunch time and headed off towards Emerald. On the way we saw a dead koala on the side of the road, plenty of fresh roos of varying sizes and when we stopped for a cuppa T we saw a huge buck that just looked and hopped off. Back onto the Gregory HW the appearance of c/vans increased but not too many, One car that passed us was all over the road so I backed right off and let a couple of trucks in between him and us, Tried to call up the first truck to warn him but he wasn't on channel, I would have called the cops as the car was heading over towards the oncoming traffic but I didn't have his rego number. Anyway we finally spotted a great gravel pit about 16ks nth of Emerald so that was us in for the night. Just upon dusk we were joined by another big bus and turns out he and his wife are from Swan Hill in Vic and funnily enough they know some people we know PLUS they have the Bombers stuff throughout their bus Going to have a good look around Emerald tomorrow.

I thought Keith moved to Dysart to get away from the cold. From the way he is rugged up I'd say he didn't achieve his objective.

At about 5pm both Tanks & George got into their flannelette shirts, tracky dacks and thick sox , Tanks out did G by putting his beanie on.

The cake looks good

End of another day and in a lovely gravel pit roughly 25 ks sth of Springsure. Last night was a real beauty, about 1.30am I woke up to a strange sound, thought someone had dumped a puppy or a dog in pain but the noise was not one I recognised so up I get and look out the window just to see a bit of movement some 4 mts away so I got the torch and there was this beautiful fox, it went behind the bus but continued to do its call so I put Brian's Roo just outside the bus door for it to have a feed of. It continued to call and seemed to be going away but in the morning the meat had gone He was beautiful. Once again the weather was great and here it is 22deg at 2245hrs. Once again we have been joined by another caravan couple and they are from Loxton SA . Before I forget , in the camps book 8 said there was a dump point at the showgrounds in Springsure but when G went into the info centre to get the directions the lady said that was news to her and pointed to the dump point that was near the public loos next to the info centre.... Some person has dumped a load of potatoes here, they look ok but not touching them as never know who has done what to them.. Watched the Ted Whitten footy game tonight, what a great game for mostly old players, they seemed to enjoy it as well Shirley, George said to say the cake was quite nice. I reckon Tanks will settle just fine by the way he is going.

Tanks its good to see your face still think of your offer for a cuppa means a lot
