did the first run with the new washing machine in the bus. Ran it off the inverter and it didn't budge the battery level very much at all. As soon as the machine had stopped the solar had charged the batteries back to where they were before. Very pleased with the whole set up the machine is soooooooooooooo quiet and does a 7kg wash in 30 mins using 45lits. If using the "eco wash balls" we can also skip the rinse cycle thus cutting more water usage. :D

Convenience was my main issue, chuck it all in and that's that. I was amazed at the weight of what I washed as a test run. 4 towels 3 t towels 2 hand towels and that weighed in at under 2kgs. and before you motley mob ask if they were baby towels the answer is no, just ordinary thread bare ones.. Only plan to use the machine IF and when we go to a CP jail or have a good water supply,

"tanks" here--

Dot:-With me being an un-domesticated Bachelor, and not having a washing machine in the Sprinter
I just throw my shorts and shirts out when they get soiled and buy more on e-bay.
I boil my socks and jocks in the kettle on the gas stove when I am on the road, only trouble is that this makes the tea and coffee taste like Sh**t, and buggers up the elastic. The advantage to the budget is that not many people ask for a second cup of coffee.

When we get to Cleaverville do you want to do my washing when you have a load for your washing machine. I can pay you with Tropical WEIS BARS, or trade an Icecream, now that I have purchased a 55 litre Car Freezer on e-bay.

THE CAR FREEZER SHOULD ARRIVE SOMETIME THIS WEEK AND A REPORT ON IT WILL FOLLOW AFTER INITIAL TESTS ARE CONDUCTED.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Hi Keith, what a great way to stop people bludging coffee  Oh forgot I got rid of that one by another means ;) Our mutual friend rang to say he's leaving here Tues. Hope he has a trouble free trip and that you catch up. He is a really lovely man. Lets know how the new "Weis" fridge goes
