There are leads everywhere here at the moment. I even ventured are far as the first steps of putting the lighting circuit that also has the ceiling fans on it to inverter power.... but the heat got the better of me... either that or the couldn't be bothered gland kicked in  Gunna run another cord to a pedestal fan over the bed and have another crack at that nanna nap :)

Up at 0530hrs this morning hit the road at 0600hrs and delivered the G man to admissions at 0700hrs. Had a call from specialist to say all went well and G was in recovery. Tried to ring his room but no answer 1800hrs.. He has just rang me and said he couldn't reach the ph.. Anyway he is ok but as usual complaining about his back and bum being sore so is going to ask for an air cushion (if they know what they are).. He will be in a few days but he bounces back very well. I can be naughty now and have a big bowl of custard for tea.

Poor G, hope he recovers quickly so he can return to your loving arms Dottie so you can spoilt him with cuppas in bed and scones with jam & cream and other yummy desserts a man recovering from such a traumatic experience deserves ;)

What Dr do you see Chuck??? :) He rang this morning to say some of the tubes have come out, dressing down, waiting for a walking frame. Said the anti clotting bandages on his legs were ok but the machine that kept massaging his pins was a bit annoying. Nice big private room with own tea making bits and bobs so he is ok, just rings the bell and someone comes and makes his cuppa. Best he stay there for a while longer (that don't happen here) He said he was talking to a nurse that said some people really try to get their moneys worth, when they went to clean the room of another patient they had taken all the bed linen and even the electric jug :) hmmm idea,, G said the TV in his room was a beauty:) Reckon he might come home tomorrow. Said to say thanks to you lot for your good wishes so Thanks from G.x
