The day we were there (for an overnighter a coupla weeks ago) the primary school playground was shared between about a dozen kids and an equal number of kangaroos. Neither took much notice of the other, and the 'roos grazed happily on the only patch of soft, green grass in town!
The rest of the town was well-populated with 'roos grazing on what they could find - inside & outside private yards...
Most of the town appeared to be 'doer-uppers'... which hadn't been 'done up' for probably 50 years! Very photogenic.
The only work going on in town was the dismantling of what appeared to be the town's former 'second' pub.
I wonder what the rest of the townsfolk do for a crust?
Regards & God bless,
Ray
