Heading south towards Healsville, nth of Melbourne, tomorrow so will stop off at the Murray Valley Motor Homes at Strathmerton near Cobram on the way to see if they can fix it. Had some nice dealings with them a few years ago with our Winnie. Thanks again Dazza for trying.
Hot water now on hand within the van... mixing valve was removed & new John Guest fittings sending water direct to the taps now... woo hoo.
Dot, yep... can now get rid of that plastic stool/step thingy...
Darryl, dunno really... the bloke who solved the problem just looked at me when I told him about the valve thingy & said "Best thing to do with those is throw them in the bin!"

When you buy a house, the tank goes within three months of moving in, the plumber had to put in a cold to hot water mixing valve to bring the 60 - 70 degree tank water down to 55 degrees to prevent the possibility of scalding.
The tank water has to be heated to at least 60 degrees with an upper limit of 70 just to prevent bacteria, so hence the need to regulate.
Frank Potts is a very nice park at Strathalbyn one km from the hotel. PS why can we not select the three photos for posting instead of going through the horse/donkey/camel dark age routine of picking one at a time?

G,Day all
We too had a great time at Gum Bend, we met new faces and made new friends which is what it all about, the men were kept occupied checking out each others rigs(Motorhomes, Caravans, Dot) and fixing and installing rear view cameras, solar panel wiring, gas bottle fittings, batteries of all descriptions, general internet thingys, fire watching, flatulence judging, improving air flow to Chucks fire pit and sundry activities, the moon was honoured by disciples and happy hours enjoyed by all, some of the ladies were taken by the current activities of Maya on the Bold and the Beautiful, and a group walked around the lake each day some twice(3.19 ks) all in all it was great to spend time with these special people who enjoy life and the outdoors, we are currently in a Rest Area about 40 ks from Grafton, its by the road not to noisy and of course its the right price, last night we were by the river near Bingara very quite and cold, prior to that we spent 4 days at the Pilliga Bore baths soaking in the 37deg bore water, the worst part was getting out then you were reminded about winter, no internet or phone and while there we meet a couple from Mildura who were there when we last visited three years ago, all very friendly in the pool as most are Grey Nomads and all topics are covered, so bt the time we get back to Fishing Point we will have had three weeks on the road and we are looking forward to getting away again in September, we will be watching for the location of the next get together so we can join in again.
Stay Safe
