This is called the endocanabinal system (I think that is the spelling) controlled by two separate sections in your brain. Every cell in your body is connected to this system through canabinoid receptors. One part of the brain monitors every cell through these receptors and if any cell returns a diseased or damaged signal the body kills the cell and replaces it. The other part handles the pain etc. Most doctors claim it does not exist but if you YouTube it you will find many medical lectures etc
Brian I will look into this endocanabinal system but when people put You Tube with medical lectures I have to dig into those people doing the lectures. A lot of people take out what they like and sometime twist things for their benefit or to sway others. I will write to my gas man (specialist anesthetist and lecturer) friend in NZ. What ever he says I will post it for you all.

It's OK Dot I am very selective of what I follow so they have to be lectures at medical conferences/ lectures or people that I know from previous sessions and I have done extensive research.

If you enter endocannabinoid system and what is it or similar and select medical sites in Google . On you tube you need to select what is genuine where as if you type cannabis and a disease than you may need to look a bit but there are a lot of proper ones from doctors and researchers as well as patients. You may be surprised what you find out.

Brian I never cease to be amazed at your knowledge in regarding medical remedies!!!
Best one I heard for curing drunkiness was to dive off the back of the boat, go down to 27ft & hold your breath for 15 minutes! Never fails to work!!
;)

When I was given about TWO WEEKS to live, the hospital rolled out the heavy artillery: radiation, restricted drugs, non-canaboid heavy painkillers.
Once I was stable enough for a weekend release SWMBO took me to a lecture by a bloke who lost half a leg to cancer and claimed diet changes killed the cancer.
After listening politely and patiently for two hours, as we left I said to her, “I’m not eating rabbit food for anyone… not even on the promise of a longer life. I’d rather be fed good food for a short time.”
I’m still here annoying you all. And I have not changed my diet. In fact, it’s been greatly improved with a wide variety of cuisines. Sous Chef (Thermomix) has been a Godsend!
:-D

Must be the religion not the food that saved you Ray!
Cancer couldn't do it but you've been seen falling down, jumping off & anything else you might think of to help quicly finish yourself off but still here with a smile?
Must be keeping you alive so you can clean up the mud every year or so?

PS. I see you posted a smilie? I can see it!

Two weeks to live and you survived, amazing, what was the fatal condition you had to be able to achieve that outcome.

Depends on what you class as being alive and not just existing on drugs and incapable of doing much other than just moving. Every medical science study I've read claims a diet without red meats and diary products, reduces cancer effects dramatically and gives you a better life style, but it won't cure cancer, only give your body the chance to repair itself. It also increases your life span by over a decade, the proof of that for me is, everyone I have known around my age is either dead, sick with some form or aliment and on drugs.

Rabbits live on roots and grass, don't know of anyone who could live on rabbits food and rather ridiculous to align rabbits food with human diet. People who don't eat animal products have a much more varied and tasty diet, they are also healthier and can look forward to a longer healthy and fitter life that animal eaters. In many studies close to 90% of people over 60 take some form of medication and more than 50% of all people in Aus take some form of pharmaceutical at least once a week, whether it be prescription drugs, over the counter or so called vitamin/minerals/herbs or supplements. So we are a pharmaceutical synthetic drugged society and the majority of the drugs and supplements don't work at all, but it's good for the pharmaceutical conglomerates profit growth.

Discovered yesterday when in Hobart that the people I visited there last week to have a bit of a jamm all have covid, one is in hospital and the rest are either pretty crook, or have mild symptoms and got it when one went to a meeting. So got a RAT test before coming home and it was negative, had another test this morning, still negative and feel fine with no symptoms at all. It reminded me of what always occurred when we arrived to do a gig and found most of the staff and audience had the flu. Yet haven't had the flu or a cold in close to 5 decades, go for my one klm run every morning with my dogs and again later in the day when it cools down, enjoy an extremely varied diet that is scrumptious and take nothing but good wholesome food.

Couldn't care less what people eat, that's their own business, but when they knock approaches to life they have no of idea of, proven to be successful in improving health, just makes me laugh at the depth of ignorance and denial they live in.
