Not on your nelly Phil too cold down there although tonight is a bit cooler than we have had, just 20.8 in the bus.. Went into Surat township to see about having the bus wheels rotated and bugger me the guy turned out to be from Orroroo SA, turned out he knew the people G boarded with when he was a youngster and was doing work at the post office there.. Small world hey ? so when we asked what time tomorrow did he want the bus he replied "Oh when ever you get here" One thing we have really missed is the Bakers Delight bread, nothing else has come close to it. Lots of road kill roos on this road between Roma and Surat and they all seem to be little ones Actually saw a live hedgehog just getting off the road in time and also a live goanna and an emu, A refill gas bottle 9kg was $40 in Roma.

If you want good bread Dot if your going thru St George on the right as you come into St George a bakery with good bread.

Had the tyres rotated in Surat $55 , got a loaf of bread as Robyn suggested and headed towards Meandarra, what a $%^& road, more black eyes and bruised knees . Got into Meandarra at 2.30pm PO open 9am -1pm, library lady gave a map with about 3 streets named, the cop car was in the cop shop driveway and no copper there, called to the cleaning lady over the road at the school as to where the footy grounds were but she knew of none so she suggested the tennis club... Out we come and settled here, large area with nice trees, use of loos and water plus you can fish as the creek is at the back of us.. Time for a cuppa now and maybe do some washing of the jocks. Warm again with that breeze again

Are you trying to tell us that you have travelled all that distance without your tyres rotating, Dot? Must have terrible flat spots.

I know I should have said wheels were rotated but I purposely do these boo boos to see if you lot are on the ball (smart ass) Thanks for the house report, it's nice to hear the man is doing the job he is being paid for. We are still within the town limits and have no ph coverage apart from the emergency thing. Back to Telstra I think

Oh boy was the early morning cold here? had the flannelette sheets on the bed , PJ's a beanie and a snuggling pussy. WHY do people insist on parking within spitting distance when there is acres and acres around? Oh now I know, There are toilets here, time to move over I reckon. Council man came a calling today, 1 night $5 then 2 free, after that it is $5 a night. Not too bad I reckon as there are loos, hot showers, water and rubbish bins. There are 6 lots in tonight. Ray & Joy should be here tomorrow arvo if the road doesn't shake their teeth out of their heads. Nice spot for a get together as well??? Right on the river with fishing allowed.

We paid that four years ago....go for a walk up to the pub for lunch had a good feed when we were there.
