I think I can speak on behalf of everyone on this forum that new or had anything to do with Ray when I say that we wish him a safe trip & send our deepest sympathies to Joy & all the families & relatives.

It was a pleasure to have met Ray and Joy when they visited us some years ago. Ray’s wit and humour will be greatly missed here, not to mention his sub-editing comments. We send our condolences to Joy and their family and friends. RIP Ray.

Ray's present both here and in the world with those that knew him, will be hard to adjust to him no longer being there.
Our heart goes out to Joy and the family, a sad time, but he has gone of the place where medical issues are no longer a concern for him

Hello Dot and George,
I have moments of self control then start crying. Dan and Lou are still with me but will be going home on Tuesday.
Ray was cremated on Friday. We are organising a “Celebration of Life” service to take place in several weeks.
Ray ‘s ashes will be returned to me on Tuesday. The service will be taken by our minister and will be a religious service.
We are arranging for it to be on zoom . I will contact you when the details have been finalised.
