The headaches yesterday really drained me so it's another early night, so sleep well everyone. It is raining here in Mannum, if I wasn't so tired I'd stay up to witness such an amazing event

Who told winter that it could suddenly appear? After almost summer for the last few weeks, today it is freezing. I am even contemplating turning on the big gas fire, seems a waste for just me at this hour, maybe better idea to crawl into bed with the electric blanket and HWMBO.

No, not another tree hater , boy did I cop a serve from a greeny friend when she saw our humungous gum tree was removed. If it's a dangerous tree, it must have been planted in the wrong spot or overstayed it's welcome. So feel free to removed any that need to be gone. Hope you have the right weather for that job Dot. xxx

The weather is freezing and the winds are a breezing. So strong that we have all been out at different times to check the boats that are moored nearby. There is nothing sadder than a boat off it's moorings in a massive wind like we have tonight. They are impossible to save from the rocks as we all know our lives are worth more than any boat, but at least the owners can be contacted to make their own plans and actions.

da tree fella is one of the greeniest greenies ever known in greenland so when he said to get that iron bark tree down it was gone within 10 minutes, down, cut into fire sized bits and the rest all mulched up and not a sign of anything had been done. He trimmed about 8 trees on our place plus trimmed the overhanging trees from 2 neighbours. $320 all up, not to bad for around 6 hrs work. Time to say goodnight as expecting that Mottleemob motley crew sometime tomorrow. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Terry x
