Do recall seeing something similar but not sure where...
Few years back after a trip to WA we were heading back E on a very hot morning, about 100 klm onto the Nullabor & decided to call it quits - just far too hot for the tug with the van - so pulled into a van park on the RH side of the highway... but can't think of the name.

Right State but nowhere near the Nullarbor. I know Kay and Dot have been to this place but whether these inhabitants were in residence I don’t know. Apparently, we were lucky to see them.

Correct Dot. We came across the burrowing bees on the loop road on the opposite side of Mt Augustus from the camp ground. Witches hats and tree branches had been placed around the area to prevent vehicles driving over them. It was fascinating to watch them.

Sure looks like one but where & which river is it?
Must be coastal looks to clean not silty like inland rivers?
