I still reckon 100 metres is a bit short for a record!!! I bet the compressor was busy feeding that many?

Was that the one where the whole lot was reversed back to the final trailer that had the brakes applied? By the time all the slack in the coupling was taken up to move the last trailer he had either already gone up a gear or was at the point of upshifting.
I remember seeing a few long nosed Kenworth's dangling the Dunlops pulling trailers out of sheds at the old Roadmaster haulage depot in the rear of the old meat works, the Olympic facilities were later built on the site.

NP, I think you’ll find Cottesloe is WSW of Qld. SSW would put this place in either Western Victoria or South Australia.
Would it be somewhere near Adelaide, perhaps?
